Perhaps, if she legally changes her name to Tiger Woods, then she will be the next Tiger Woods

i think in a lot of ways that the LPGA is pre-tigeresque...

if a lot more american (and other industrialized country) women played golf competitively and aggressively there's no way the leaderboard would look remotely like it does now.

if you get a woman who comes up who hits the ball a long way (by LPGA standards) and has a great short game, i wonder if it would really shake things up.

lexi and michelle wie were obvious but i see them hit so many mediocre (or worse shots) from inside 100 yards............ i don't know enough about suzanne petersen....... brooke henderson has really come on (i think she's top 10 finish in 8 straight events and looking good this week)......

basically i think LPGA is still waiting for their own TW type ....... could be waiting a long time of course.

Purse money is not much. If you're not one of the top 30 then you better have a good sponsor, else you're likely losing money.

Also, there seem to be fewer US events, which discourages US players.

For some it is a good gig, if you know what I mean.

As of the end of 2015, Lydia had earned a total of $7,961,402 in her two-year LGPA career. That includes $5,961,402 in tournament money and $2 million for her two consecutive Race to the CME Globe title wins. Once you add on endorsements, sponsorship etc that takes it to almost 13M. I'd say it's a been a pretty good gig for her.

Though then you realize Jordan Spieth earned something in the range of 53 million in 2015 alone... (23M on the course). Ouch.

The money isn't even close and never will be in the foreseeable future.
