It was the 17th actually. I didn't watch a whole lot of yesterday but did see that and thought it a little odd that she marked a putt that short. Somehow I didn't notice the obvious INFARCTION.

This broadcast team is gutless. Tirico gets a pass since he's the host but the rest of them are just "aw shucks thems the breaks". No, thems shouldn't be the breaks you goddamned spineless jackasses.

for golf commentary they've seemed pretty adamantly against the whole ruling.

just beyond awful if she doesn't win. hope its all over every social media everything and the officials get crucified in the most public way possible.

Seems way more tame than the DJ ruling last year when guys like Faxon were just outright calling the whole thing stupid. The politeness of the women's game may have some effect on the tone of the broadcast.

Would be amazing if SEXY LEXI jars this eagle putt but it's good to know that at worst a playoff is almost a certainty.

1, really rooting for Lexi after this
2, a ruling like this is a no win scenario.
3, watching the replay in real time it's obvious she didn't like how the ball was sitting on a 12-inch putt. Otherwise why not tap it in? She probably on a subconscious level intentionally put the ball in a slightly different spot.

4, I hope she knocks that eagle putt right in the ****ing jaws.

OMG this is ridiculous...but now I want Lexi to drain this putt!

Both tours should just make a rule saying they will not take any phone calls or emails about rules infractions. If the tournament officials do not catch it themselves, then tough ****.

Regardless of the outcome l feel for Ryu for having to be on the other side of this. Sort of like being Stewart Cink in the 2009 Open. Except **** Stewart Cink.
