If I have this right, today's matches:

Nordqvist v Lewis
Hull v Creamer
Munoz v Lang
Ciganda v Pressel
Hedwall v Wie
Matthew v Pillar
Pettersen v Salas
Sergas v Korda
Masson v Thompson
Ewart Shadoff v Lincicome
Recari v Stanford
Icher v Kerr

Go ahead, pick a match, any match, in which the US player is a meaningful favorite. Mallon definitely front-loaded the lineup -- the way Kerr putted yesterday was unbelievably bad. Not going to matter.

Predicted final score: 17 LOLEuros, 11 USA#1

I don't understand the whole idea of conceding putts.

It's supposed to be a diplomatic thing but it ends up being the opposite. Just putt everything out ffs. If it's a short enough putt that you should make it then... you should make it.

Not to mention it's just dumb when you are down. USA was down 1 yesterday and made a long par putt then conceded like a 5-foot par putt to Europe. lol. Boring. Want to see more swongs during these matches. Instead we're just waiting around for people to really blow up a hole.

Yesterday if you were overweight the outfits were not flattering at all You could see a few of the hefty ones trying to adjust and cover the love handles

Some strategy to it as well. Conceding 2.5 footers early in a match when the pressure is lower, then making them putt one late in the match in a meaningful spot when they haven't had to make one all day can maybe make sense.

I don't think a 5 footer was conceded though, bad camera angle or something.

Shouldn't it be China, Japan and Korean peoples against everyone else? And even then it's not fair...

I'm all in on Ewart Shadoff... in love

Stacy Lewis sucks. Got the read on the first putt and wasn't even close. Then missed another makeable putt.

Maybe for the pros they should just putt most things out but for normal club matches there is both a pace of play thing and just courtesy. It's common at a club match that a guy will have a 4 footer and 3 putts to win the hole or something similar and they've already spent 5 minutes looking for the opponent's ball. Just go to the next hole.

If Hull made those short ones early she'd be completely destroying Creamer

And she does! Still gonna lose, though.

Yep, these statements are pretty spot on.

Non-competitive golfers don't have to understand it, things are just done a certain way. LOL at saying change match play rules.

My buddy played this Colorado Golf Club and raved about it. I have played 2 other Coore/Crenshaw designs and they flat out get it. Gonna be in CO next summer and will definitely make some calls to get on there
