Hmmm. Opening for Nelly Korda? Or Marina Alex? Angela Stanford? Mo Martin? Paula Creamer?

I think it'll be Stanford, but I won't back that with money.

Was chuffed that I.K. Kim finally got major redemption! She played really steady golf on Sunday, glad she got that monkey off her back.

up to 78th on the money list and 110th in the world. coming off her second and third best weeks of the year (on links courses, mind you) so obviously the form pick.

smh Juli.

Creamer does have a very good Solheim record and I'm not surprised that she put a veteran's name in the envelope as alternate given that you wouldn't really want a rookie if there is a last minute WD.

I'm thinking Creamer will be paired with Cristie Grrr

It has been 3 months since I last did a report card on this year's rookies. At that time the LPGA had only played 10 tournaments, they have now completed 22 events. So much has changed. What appeared to be a pretty weak 2017 rookie crop at the time of that writing, has developed into a much stronger group than originally expected.

With the LPGA taking a two week break from tournament play before resuming its schedule in Canada, it is as good a time as any to look at some key player statistics after the first 22 tournaments of the year.

Sweet opening tee shot by Lexi. Opening eagle incoming?

tonyj: why don't you use https on your site?

edit: Lexi drives the green at #1 and then hits the flag w/ her team's approach at #2.

i'm seeing this today and in the USGA Ams i've been watching for the past month... don't understand why ppl aren't conceding when their opponent(s) have 2 putts to win from 6 and 7 feet.

IIRC according to PGA TOUR stats a 7 footer has about the same probability of 3 putt as missing a 2 footer. That probably seems impossible, but pros make about 95% of 3 footers, and 99% of 2 footers.
