The first round was suspended as they had winds that were gusting to over 60 miles per hour. Play will be resumed tomorrow morning at 10:30 ET.

About half the field was able to get finished.

i agree on mo martin being impressive with her lack of length. of course, corey pavin won a major with serious lack of length.

what is that "chase move" that the 14 year-old chinese-american girl does? similar to paula creamer and some others............................ is that bad form? i'm thinking a disease some of these women golfers who played at a higher level very young is that they have these weird quirks that allowed them to hit the ball further but not sure it helps them later on. lexi comes to mind trying to keep up with brothers but now i think she hits down way too much and too hard on her wedges.

fyi, the 14 year-old plays at one of my regular courses - half moon bay south of san francisco

i should add i read that one of the reasons that JT hits it so far for a smaller player is that he goes up at impact. i'm read that the chase move is dropping head on swing... but not sure if these are at different times so might not be inconsistent. i.e. drop head and then thrust up???

He is one of the few who have optimal launch conditions on the PGA. Most of the guys give up a bit but JT hits up, launches high with low spin. Also helps he almost always hits center of the club face.

The second round was suspended due to darkness and will continue Saturday at 10:30am ET. Golf Channel will cover the completion of the second round live.
