+0.9, i havent posted any of my rounds lately but will do so soon. two of those rounds were a 65 and a 66 both in tournaments and a coupld other under par rounds so i am guessing it will be a +2 or +3 by next month.

I suck and I know it, but I actually got it below 30 with my last couple of rounds :-)

Damn, 3 sounds like a very low max to set for yourself. How much have you played and how long ago?

Also, the second part sounds like something that went through Phil's mind monday evening

I've played for 9 years, since I was 16. That max might sound low to some, but it's a relative. I've played tons of tournament golf, hundreds of under par rounds,etc. Obviously just a little rusty all around but tbh I feel like ending up at a 3 after 20 rounds would be pretty sad.

Never had an official handicap, but I'd guess I'd be around a 20 now having not played a round since April.

officially it's 18.1 though if i were to play 3 days in a row it would be lower, just im usually playing when 'rusty'.

i would play so much more if i always used a buggy, but in uk it is not commonplace, plus you get stuck behind people all the time.

going back to st andrews next week to play 3 rounds. woot.

brag: got to play all 5 st andrews courses (inc old course) for $250 per year for the last 4 years.

beat: that has ended out having to pay $300 for 3 rounds next week, none on old course.

33 is my official hcp, probably play to 20-25 now. I usually play alone, so haven't had an official round in a while
