played Rhodes Ranch this morning w Dominic. Managed to come from well back to only lose by a skin. Had a chance to tie on 18 but whiffed my par putt. gg.

Many thanks to Dominic for booking four rounds for us this week. Had a great time. Looking forward to the next visit. Keep your head still when you putt

Gotta spot open for 9:10 on Sunday at Royal Links for $59 for any Vegas resident who wants to join me...if you're not a resident, expect to pay at least $100.

PM me if you want to play...first come, first serve.

Just curious do they check locals ID? Why couldnt you just pay for two and leave the tourist on the putting green?

I tried that last week at Royal Links and they wanted BOTH IDs, not just mine.

Heard from someone who would know that Badlands is going to be plowed under and developed into residential. I have enjoyed my rounds out there but it seems to be a fairly unpopular course due to how tight it is, so if true wonder how much it'll be missed.

I also wanted to check out the TaylorMade Par 3 course near the airport. Never played under the lights before (except for Top Golf) and thought it might be interesting.

As a tourist it is a neat experience to play at night IMO. Have played it a few times and always enjoyed it.

I will be in town for a golf trip at the end of September. Unfortunately, Paiute Wolf is closed the days we are there. I need a third course (playing Bear's Best and Painted Desert), thoughts?

TPC Summerlin
Wolf Creek
Paiute Snow or Mountain

I'm leaning Wolf Creek because from the pictures it just seems like nothing else I have seen before. But also heard good things about the other courses

TPC Summerlin is a PGA tourney stop (they'll play there at the end of October) so obv it's a decent course. but it's private...do u have a hook-up?

Wolf Creek - lots of elevation changes and generally a tough course. Would be quite an experience if you've never played anything like it before.

Pauite - can't go wrong with any of the courses out there.

Summerlin - yes, know a member that can get us on.

Sounds like they would all be fun. I'm questioning the drive out to Wolf Creek

maybe these descriptions will help u decide what sounds the best:

Pauite: basic desert golf, pretty setting
Wolf Creek: desert/canyon golf to the extreme
TPC Summerlin: more like a traditional country club course, albeit a southwestern-themed one, with actual large amounts of rough and trees. not really what I would call a desert course if that is the experience u want.
