interesting round today @ badlands. got diablo/outlaw which is my preferred pair. warmed up well but got on the course and couldn't stop overswing. made a couple birds but overall a scramble. two lost-ball bogeys, so that's something.

planning to play poker all night...so late morning or early afternoon round tomorrow. will post tomorrow am when i book. i should be EASY$$ off 0 sleep.

I got a deal for 2 at Bears Best because I'm a local...call up and ask or look at Golfnow or something. We're playing at 9:30 on Wednesday, so if there's a spot open, you're welcome to join us.

Does Bear's Best close down from the end of September through early April? Rates page on their site doesn't have anything for those dates but I can't find anything online saying that they do shut down.

Yea, they note that they are closed 8/22-9/8, but their rates start up again through 9/25 then stop for good.
