Not true on the hotdeals. But all the other ones you it is cheaper to call the course. I actually don't know if it is true for the courses you play, if they match the hotdeals that is pretty awesome.

have you tried lastminutegolfer? same log-in/password as golfnow. courses list their partials a day ahead. you can't book more than a day in advance and most options are 1 - 3 players. i find the prices quite a bit lower than other options i've looked at.

Also if they are on Golf Now they likely have tee times to book directly on their website. Their own website doesn't charge the service fee.

I hunted around various websites, Bali Hai directly and via the Concierge at Monte Carlo. The Concierge was cheapest for us - for this particular round on this course. There wasn't much in it but still a little cheaper!

Hey. Looking to play a round or two whilst in vegas for wsop between june 15- july 15. Hcap 18 play mostly for fun/enjoyment. Best websites to book through? Course rec's? Will also need to hire all equipment as not traveling with any. Keeping total costs <120-150$ would be ideal. Thanks for any feedback

Played Angel Park Mountain course last year with rentals included for $85. This year it looks like their round+rentals is $100 flat. Still fairly decent for round with rentals included.

I am sure others know of better courses in the price range, that's all i know of though

I have used Golf Clubs Away and way better than any rentals.
Golf Now is not as good as it used to be but last minute deals there can be good
Tuscany/Chimera
Rhodes Ranch
Badlands
If you have a rental drive out to Primm or Wolf Creek

Buddy and I are in town July 3rd-10th and looking for a couple people to complete a foursome.

Yes we know how crazy hot it will be but **** it, we love golf too much.

Probably doing two rounds one at Bali Hai and the other at Reflection Bay. Both rounds around 8am to attempt to at least somewhat mitigate the heat.

We're both avid poker players and we love the idea of playing golf with fellow poker players rather than being paired up with two randoms at the course.

We're both about 7 handicaps if that matters to you.

Drop me a line if you're interested!

Had our yearly golf event this past week. Totally different courses than last year, two of them new to us.

Siena (practice round) - I have a bit of a Rain Man thing where I tend to remember every hole on every course and every shot hit by every player in our group. This course though was strangely forgettable. I can barely remember half the holes. Greens were very slow and inconsistent due to poa creeping in. Staff was nice but I wouldn't be upset if we left this off in the future.

Royal Links - our third time here after a couple of years off. The greens were in substantially better shape than before, making for a much better experience. Fun course and unique. Although I think I was only in one bunker all day and it had plenty of sand, it seems that some of the more penal ones were really thin. Don't have to play this every year but would like to keep it in the rota. Last year we stayed at Red Rock and played only on that side of town; one of the downsides to Royal Links (or Desert Pines for that matter) is that they are in crappy parts of town and getting there is a slog.

Rio Secco - new to our outing and the standout of the courses. I knew going in from both reading this thread and reviews online that this would be a nice track. Didn't disappoint. Got into a dustup with the starter right away, he was hustling me to the tee ten minutes before our tee time, which I find agitating and gave him an earful. It was our match play day and I needed every minute pf warmup I could get. They teed us off of the 10th hole. Not sure if the front nine is easier or if I simply ran out of ******ed swings but I scored much better on holes 1-9. Staff was great and this course had the hottest drink cart girl I have ever seen, by far, Keli (?). Hot, cool, a good golfer, and knew exactly what to say to a bunch of horny/desperate middle-aged men to maximize her tip potential.

Bali Hai - our second time here; like the first time it was our final round of the trip. The timing was appreciated - a layout of mostly grass and adjacent holes was a welcome sight after three days of spending too much time in the desert. Like the first time, the wind which comes howling in from the south was at least 2-3 clubs and hard to predict. Plus as I've mentioned elsewhere, the holes into the wind are also uphill, and the ones downwind are downhill which meant huge variance between holes that were the same distance on the card. Greens were in good shape, staff was friendly. Hope we circle back there every couple of years.

Courses from past years that we did not play this time: Desert Pines (two years), Paiute Wolf (two years), TPC Canyons / Las Vegas (three years), Badlands (two years), Primm, Bear's Best, Spanish Trail.

Going to play tomorrow at 8:40am at Bears Best. Supposed to be around 110 degrees. I should live tweet my round, so I can die for the enjoyment for the enjoyment of others.
