How is the Golf in the first few weeks of March? Never been to Vegas than.

Rio secco is super solid and tough course if you can get on for a decent price

Spanish Trail was pretty rough when I played it, hard to find F&B service before the round. I hear it's going under.

Rio Secco was great when I played it a few years back.

Just back from Vegas. Wolf Creek was absolutely incredible and the drive there to play it is so, so worth it (drive was about 1:20 there and back) Bear's Best was a solid course as well, was in good shape and had some beautiful holes with the mountains as a backdrop. Can't wait to go back and play some more courses recommended in this thread.

Sounds great, gutted we cant make it out to Wolf Creek.

How was the weather? my previous times out have been in November and just wondering if it was a bit warmer. Coming from the Caribbean the temperatures sound baltic. Cant wait to get out there now.

Weather was about 60 degrees both days. Not bad when sun is out but once sun went behind clouds brrrrr...

What are loopers getting @ Bali Hai? Or any of the other public/resort tracks that have caddies for that matter.

Headed out to Vegas in a few weeks. Going with a couple guys who like to golf but none of us are great and some of us are terribad. Is the Callaway par 3 a good idea for folks who want to spend a few hours outside and don't want to drop a ton of money and time or is the course not even worth playing? Any thoughts appreciated.

I'll be in town this weekend coming and will play twice. My buddy and I are both in the 12-16 handicap ranges.

I will probably book on golfnow.com so I'm interested in the following courses. Are there any that I should try to play in particular, or any that should be avoided (in bad shape or just suck in general)? I will have a rental car.

Of those you listed Rhodes Ranch, Badlands, and Siena are a cut above Wildhorse, Painted Desert, and Highland Falls (in my opinion), have not played the others.

With respect to equipment I see that Las Vegas Golf and Tennis has a new "superstore" across the interstate from Aria. Anyone checked this out?
