Wolf Creek is great but a little gimmicky imo. Coyote Springs is my current favorite (Reflection Bay used to be but they closed it). Paiute Wolf course is great - so is the food as discussed. The staff can be real hit and miss though. Sometimes its great, but my two worst ever interactions with course personnel occurred there.

Bear's Best is great, but it costs like double what it used to so I haven't played it in a while. TPC Las Vegas is real good, but is quite a grind of a day - not much letup in that course. Cascata is great but too much uphill/downhill for me. Always in sick good condition though. Rio Secco can be great but avoid windy days and avoid summer - extreme wind or extremely dry greens can make the course nearly unplayable.

I always approach it from a tourist point of view which I am and were can you also get the best deal.
s for Badlands I have never had bad greens, always treated well, nice range , and usually pay about $50 for an AM Tee Time. Knock is you really hit a driver once or twice

I do agree on Coyote Springs love it but also in the middle of no where and pricey.

Never played cascata as to much coin

Coyote Springs is cheap now. Middle of nowhere but from the strip only about 25 minutes further than Badlands, maybe only 10 minutes further than Paiute. It's 45-50 minutes from the Mirage.

Ok. Meanwhile your 20 dollar room at ip gets you half off cascata and rio secco.

For residents yes $39 but for non Residents $100-$129.

Also I tend to stay in Summerlin when we go for a golf trip. Last few trips using Golf Now averaged $54 a round. This trip were at the Red Rock and will play
Pauite Sun, Silverstone and Badlands averaged $75 which is pricey

I noticed some suggest Cascada well that is $375 a round plus caddies are required

Silverstone in good shape?
I remember in college we came out to celebrate my dad's 50th (dec 2002) and it was quite new and in amazing shape.
First course I ever played in LV and my only hole in one.

It was pretty good. Few dry patches on a few fairways but other than that okay. I ended up with a birdie on the Par 5 575 yard hole. Not bad for a 28 handicap. Pauite had been aerated on Monday but was ok also

Also we never played Badlands as the wind was howling

Hard pressed to find a course you can walk. Of all the ones I played it was never allowed. |If any Angel Park would be possible in my opinion but not sure they allow

The weather in Vegas has been absolutely perfect this last week. If you're here and not playing golf right now, you're an idiot.

I've got some old clubs to get rid of that wouldn't be worth the effort of shipping, so maybe a 2+2 local wants em. They're old.

Ping i3 blade irons. 3-w, JZ stiff steel.
Titleist 983k 8.5 deg. Stock fujikura stiff.
Cleveland 588 rtg 60 deg. Well rusted.
Black ping hoofer 2. Small kink in one leg that doesn't affect functionality.

All need new grips, though the wedge one is ok. No titleist head cover on the driver. I've got a great big Bertha 2 head cover from my dad's garage on it now that you can certainly have.

I'll almost pay to have them taken off my hands. Almost. 100 takes all of it, 90 if you come pick em up downtown. Pics available I guess, but I prefer to remain lazy. Everything is in good shape for their considerable age.

Played Coyote Springs on Sunday. Still my favorite course, but they have really let the greens grow. Makes the course more playable but they aren't the super fast and true greens they used to be. I feel like there's a better middle ground than the current approach.

I dunno, every course seems to be 70$ or higher, the courses where I'm from are 31 to 50$ and from the pictures I see our courses are much nicer looking.

I saw a post above where someone mentioned that if you stay at IP you get half off at some courses. I'll be in town staying at Bally's in June and am bringing my clubs. Are there discounts generally available through the hotels? If so, how do I get them?

I have a local hookup (played Primm desert course for like $25 in Feb.) but he's only in town for the first couple days of my trip. I'm not cheap, but I just don't like golf enough to blast off $200 or whatever to play golf when I can play at home for $40.

Any advice would be welcome. I even considered getting a fake id like kids get to drink underage, but just use it for locals golf discounts

Caesars owns cascata. You get half off when you're staying at their properties, but it's half off 300+ bucks. They have a deal at rio secco, but again, expensive course.

Well the deal at Primm is nice prefer the desert course but like its been said a bunch here sign up for Golf Now daily E-mail deals. They will send you some promo rates at bunch of courses 3-4 days prior. You should easily be able to find rounds that way for $50-$80

Hey guys...I just bought a Groupon for ezlinks.com to use on my up coming Vegas trip...getting to town on the 11th. Here is the list of courses I can pick from it looks like. I wanted to get thoughts on what my best choice(s) would be, as I don't know any of them. Some have been mentioned in this thread, but it's summer now, so conditions vary, etc. Thanks in advance for any input.

Oh, and please keep in mind that I'm terrible at golf. I don't want to play where there are a bunch of forced carry shots etc. Thanks again!

Angel Park Mountain
Bear's Best
Black Mountain
Boulder City GC
Conestoga GC
Highland Falls
Legacy
Oasis (Canyons or Palmer)
Painted Desert
Palm Valley
Red Rock
Sienna
The Revere
Tuscany

Of those I think Bears Best and Revere are the best courses, but for what you said Red Rock is still a solid course thats a little easier in my opinion.

Siena is in rough shape right now. Played it yesterday, and a lot of the holes are roped off for overseeding. Others have large patches of ground under repair. Greens look like they were punched not too long ago.
