Hey guys I am going to Vegas for the first time on the weekend and I would like to play at least 1 round of golf. I would prefer a smaller course or possibly a executive, my price range is anything 0-$100. I am a 25 handicap and will be playing by myself, Any good suggestions?

My Vegas Golf experience about a 28 handicap
  1. Tuesday played 36 holes at Badlands Fairways were just OK but greens were very nice. Dissapointed that they installed matts on their driving range. Shot 92 from regular tees and 97 from back but not tips
  2. Wednesday the Monsoon hit no golf
  3. Thursday 18 at Revere Concore Greens amazing course soaked up all the water well shot 97 loved the course
  4. Friday played Primm Desert Lakes course was closed. Great Shape and a tough layout. Shot 103 and 106

Never played Saturday as i tweaked my arm a bit. We split our stay between the Suncoast and the Southpoint. I love the Southpoint and a great value and very nice hotel.

One note every trip I have gone always paired with some really nice people. This trip paired with pricks every round other than one nice local at Primm his buddy was a prick too

Augie Have you tried Rhodes Ranch for practicing?

yea, rhodes ranch is my home course. their practice green is pretty awful so i go to bear's best to putt and chip.

just realized the primm course you guys are talking about is where i played right before deploying to afg. me and a buddy had a blow out weekend about 5 days prior to leaving, and on the way back, traffic was awful. We saw that Primm had a golf place, and just rode the shoulder for like a mile and went to play. I will always remember the feeling that day. It was one of the most bittersweet moments of my life.

Hungover, leaving civiliazation for 7 months in 5 days, had just sat in traffic for hours, playing golf (!!!), I had just hooked up with a really cool chick the previous night, she was texting me to come back and chill at pool and leave at 3am for work monday but my buddy drove and he had to be back, beautiful day, and had to be at work at 7 am on monday and had so much to do.

did i describe it well enough?

siena is $70/month, it's where i practice. the grass is not in the best condition right now (since it's winter) and their range balls are pretty shabby as well, but it's still a decent deal. at least they don't own any mats.

there aren't very many courses in town that offer a driving range deal at all.

Going to be in Vegas for spring break 23-27 of march mostly to golf. I was considering trying to do a total budget golf trip $50 and under golf now seems to have quite a few of these options if you are flexable with times.

Is it better to book those in advance or wait til the day before or day of? Any advice on the best budget courses would also be appreciated, ill have a car so transportation won't be an issue.

Going to be a solo trip so anyone looking for someone to golf with feel free to get a hold of me as golfing with someone is always better then alone.

5 days in vegas and 3 days in mesquite
Tentatively for Vegas, Las Vegas National, Aliante, Palm Valley, Prim Valley, and Silverstone. Mesquite is Conestoga, Wolf Creek, and Falcon Ridge. The mesquite courses are set due to room package. Outside of the LVN most rounds are looking around $40-60 on GN. I want for advice and opinions on the vegas portion looking for a good variation quality and budget. I'd appreciate any suggestions or different courses.

what's your handicap? why palm valley? LVN is fun, it's short but still some challenging holes. plus, TIGER WOODS has played there! when are you coming?

Ill be down near the end of march. I ended last season as a 24 but had been quite a considerable improvement and working on my game when I can get to the range.
Palm Valley GN $40 hot deal, is it a bad for that course? Is there a better one for
similar price range?
We are playing a couple of nice courses in mesquite and where most of my spending on golf is going and is why I'm looking to keep the vegas golf a little more budget but looking for good value.

Las Vegas National Yes
Alliante Pass
Palm Valley Never played but haven't heard anything good
Primm Played both loved both Desert bigger challenge
Silverstone I liked

Mesquite Wolf Creek one of the nicest courses I have played Will be your favorite of Vegas

My suggestion Dump Alliante and Palm Valley and substitute Badlands for sure and either Rhodes Ranch or Tuscany keeping in mind your budget and GN or a Revere Course or Pauite from GN are great choices

Any cheap driving ranges out there? I'll be out there late next week and haven't hit any balls in a while. I remember the new, big place on the strip was sorta expensive, even the club rentals (I won't be bringing my clubs). Thanks.

Any recommendation for a cheap golf course in Vegas. Like $40-50 for a round. Taking a girl golfing who isn't too good of a golfer, so I'm looking for a mediocre, not great course. I'm a 22 handicap myself. She's sorta a beginner golfer.

Tuscany a nice layout and player friendly also Legacy was mentioned. Reality is keep up to the group ahead of you and skill level really doesnt matter. Play in the afternoon may be better also

Im gonna be in Vegas for my brothers bachelor party on March 20th-24th.

Im getting out there on Wed night, and want to play on Thursday morning/afternoon.

Anyone have a suggestion on a course somewhat close to the strip? Prob 30 mins or less by cab...

I'd like to play somewhere on the nicer side, as it will be my only round most likely.

Im gonna be playing by myself, so if anyone is around and wants to play, let me know. Thanks.

Your best bet is to play Las Vegas National for proximity to the strip
