Figure about 15-20 minutes of useable light after sunset.

Re: Golf in Las Vegas Superthread

For some reason Aliante sent me a $100 gift certificate in the mail (it says they're manged by OB and I have that locals deal at Angel Park so that's probably why). Anyway I'd never go out there so if someone wants to buy it from me make me an offer.

Thanks for the heads up, two of my buddies have the OB card, I'll tell them to keep an eye out.

Also, AP is our home course (live right down the street) if you're ever looking to play with a bunch of horrible golfers.

Strong effort by them both. 1 of them even went as far as to post in Brick & Mortar beforehand.

I played it once before it was officially open. It was nice then and I still hear good things about it.

Re: Golf in Las Vegas Superthread

I am looking for a some people to play golf with in Vegas, a regular group would be nice but for now i would just like to get out and play. I wont be in town till first week of feb but after that i will be a Vegas resident

If you're just there for 3 days and for someone's birthday party and you're the only one wanting to play, i'd def just party.

Played at Paiute for the first time in a while today. No more GPS on the carts.

Re: Golf in Las Vegas Superthread

Not as bad as usual. It's almost always windy out there to some degree. I'd say 5-10mph, no more than a club length on most holes, maybe a hair more than that in our face coming home on 17 and 18. I'd say overall pretty standard and not too bad.

Re: Golf in Las Vegas Superthread

So just got back from Vegas where PH comped us at Rio Secco on Friday and Cascata on Saturday. I had never heard of these courses and all I can say is wow! Cascata is one of the most amazing tracks I have ever played and can only imagine the look once the winter grass is gone..Rio Secco kicked my ass as I was spraying a bit on the front nine but picked it up on the back. Saw Ebays boss's 66.000sf mansion and Frank Thomas and Floyd Mayweathers house...sick sick properties...and the wierd thing is we saw no one enjoying the yards just the odd gardener...no kids....no life of any sort was kinda different.
