Is anyone up for golf maybe sunday>? I would like to play a niceish(no more than like 55-60$) to walk around 3 or 4. I would be interested in playing playing like 35/35/35 nassau or like 20/hole or sthg. I am about a 2 or 3, would play off 0 as i have no handicap registered in the past 6 or 7 years.

edit: Would be much more willing to play against a 12-15 or lower. i don't wanna be giving like more than 1/hole

Would like some recommendations on a nice course to treat my father for his birthday. We've played most of the under $100 courses over the years but few or none of the ones that charge locals $150-200+.

Heard a ton of good things about Coyote Springs, though not exactly right in town. Obviously a trip up to Mesquite offers a ton of good options.

Heading out around December, as have 1 or 2 relatively new golfers in our group but we would definitely like to play at least a round or two. Any recommendations on relatively cheap (sub $75 ideally) and not to difficult courses?

I see Desert Pines on Golfnow for $49 a person, seems like a pretty good deal to me (if someone can comment on it, that would be great)

And any comments on renting clubs rather than bringing your own from home? We're there for a few days before moving onwards, and having 4 bags of clubs with us just seems to be too much of a hassle

Sign up for the golfnow daily deals. Every morning they e-mail you the weeks deals. Grab Badlands at 8:00 AM for $50. Hauling 4 bags is a pain Most of the rentals are very good quality. If your playing just two rounds rent.

Play Tuscany or Bdalnds for the buck or even one of the Primm Courses

Playing The Chase up at Coyote Springs this Sunday with my regular group of buddies for $45. I played here about 15 months ago and it was great. Hopefully this time the wind won't be blowing 20+ mph because I'd prefer to play the tips but won't torture myself again if the wind is howling.

I see that the sunset time is about 4:30 by end of Dec from Google. What time generally does a course become unplayable?

Figure about 15-20 minutes of useable light after sunset.

For some reason Aliante sent me a $100 gift certificate in the mail (it says they're manged by OB and I have that locals deal at Angel Park so that's probably why). Anyway I'd never go out there so if someone wants to buy it from me make me an offer.

Thanks for the heads up, two of my buddies have the OB card, I'll tell them to keep an eye out.

Also, AP is our home course (live right down the street) if you're ever looking to play with a bunch of horrible golfers.

Strong effort by them both. 1 of them even went as far as to post in Brick & Mortar beforehand.

I played it once before it was officially open. It was nice then and I still hear good things about it.
