lol. Well let's be honest, with an all-female cast you know the quality of golf is going to go down. Might as well provide some eye-candy to keep people interested.

Caught the replay last night. I've never really watched much of the Big Break series - I mean it's totally contrived and the hosts suck relentlessly - but I could see following this for obvious reasons.

Bummer that the first victim was the Ferris State grad.

Really? I for one had no idea how much shorter the ladies hit it than the men. First pairing out there takes driver and hit it 207 and 213?

I couldn't believe it.

Then the "female John Daly" really lays into one and manages 265, completely demolishing the competition. I'm pretty sure that was the only one of the 8 who got it past the 250 mark.

I never watch the LPGA, but I assumed that most good young women players were getting it out there 260-270 on a regular basis, guess I was wrong.

they say lorena ochoa was 280+ but color me highly skeptical.

watched this show a moderate amount. usually just later at night with it on as background, but have not noticed stephanie sparks, who i totally adore.

stacey bieber is from winnipeg, as is justin bieber's dad. surprised they haven't played that angle, although it seems like bieber is somewhat common mennonite name out here.

that girl with the send/save sign was a complete douche, but probably the producers put her up to it.

this is horrible train-wreck TV, but i can't stop watching LOL

Sigh I hate defending women golfers. It was really obviously quite windy. The girls hitting it 207 and 213 probably hit it around 240-250 on average. The girl hitting it 265 probably is around 300 on average. And my wife, who was a college golfer, probably hits it 235-240 and everyone on her team was similar if not longer.
