Any suggestions on a good course to play golf in Washington DC for a decent size group of guys? We will be drinking a good amount and are not that great at golf

thanks

If you're willing to drive an hour, Meadows Farms in Virginia is dirt cheap and has some elements of Caddyshack 2. An 840 yard par 6 (Longest Hole in the U.S.), an island green, and a par 3 built into a baseball field where you tee off at home plate and the green is in Center Field.

That's the closest public course I know to DC unfortunately.

There's also an RFID driving range in Northern VA where you get points for hitting targets. Might be better for drinking and non-serious golfers.

There are plenty of public courses within a half hour or so of DC. I know most of the Montgomery County courses will do large groups if you contact them ahead of time. I can't recommend any of the in DC proper courses (although Langston is the least bad of them).

All DC golf you need to travel about 30 minutes from dc in virginia check out potomac shores, westfields, and stonewall golfclub. All three are higher end places that are in great shape
