I have 2 for 1:08. Ezlinks has a book one or book 2 for 34 per player with a cart or nyp for 30 which is a good deal for GD National it is 61 normally. Book at ezlinks if anyone wants to join me and my friend. I shot 81 last time out and my friend shoots 90's but is fast and a nice guy.

Can't make Friday but would love to join a group if anyone has extras for Sat. Otherwise I'll just go to some random course and find a spot.

I know this thread is really old but didn't want to make a new one.

I'll be in Chicago for work Thursday...took Wednesday off (April 1st) and am gonna try and play 36...getting in to O'hare at 7:37 AM. Right now the NWS is calling for 65 degrees Wednesday.

I know not all courses will be open yet, right now my plan is to play Harborside International (only of their 2 courses will be open so was gonna just play it twice).

Anyone with local knowledge as far as what's good and what will actually be open have any other suggestions? I'm not renting a car which I guess limits me somewhat, I don't want to be paying for 30 mile taxi rides.

Also if anyone is around and wants to play that day feel free to join, I'll be by myself.

As far as options, Harborside is probably your best bet but it is still about a 30 min drive from the Loop and on the other side of the city from OHare. It'd be more economical to just rent a Zipcar or something instead of a cab / uber for that distance.

I can't really weigh-in on what is open and what isn't open but I'd recommend maybe checking out the thread at GolfWRX about Chicago golf. It's quite active and I've met a few good guys from that forum and they have great advice.
