Ship, do you play with Lietzke much? I saw him on the golf channel doing a 'Playing lessons with the pro's", and he was giving his lesson at Glen Eagles. (I think you've mentioned you know him..)

I played with him some wayyyy back in the day at Gleneagles. He was a guy who truly didn't play while at home. The myth that couples didn't practice was a total myth, but Bruce really didn't ever play.

It is a sweet set up....but you do know the teaching center is where that pilates instructor was murdered last week. I'll elaborate on that more tomorrow as I am sure the people around the country are like "what the F are you talking about".

Ship, I forget where I saw it (maybe the Tiger knee thead) but you mentioned applying for a medical waiver for your Low-T. This got me to remembering Casey Martin. Did you play any collegiate events with him? As a professional, what did you think of his suit under the ADA act? Were you worried that it would give him a competive advantage, or was it just a non issue with you at the time?

As an aside, since your topics get alot of traffic, I want to recomend to anyone that is close the NCAA regionals are starting soon. I was lucky enough that the '09 Championship was held in Toledo, Ohio and got to see some great golf. Yes, it was won by Ship's alma mater (A&M), but among those in the field were Fowler, Uihlein, Chun. Also it had one of the greatest golf shots to win that most people have never seen.

http://www.lastvideo.org/Bronson+Bur...Shot-4177.html

What made it so outstanding was the fact that Burgoon was up 5 with 6 to go (first year of match play). On the 18th Tee the kid from Arkansas puts it dead center of fairway. Burgoon goes holy hell right then boom.

I was fine with Casey Martin, he has a real disability. Give the guy a cart. Yes it is hard logistically during a tournament, but figure it out. As for my low T or diabetes or whatever, I think it is a tough call. I know I feel pretty terrible when I am not supplementing and it has negative impacts on other areas of my life due to massive ADD and mild depression. I don't know enough about diabetes to know what it does to your body and system. When Verplank used a cart at Final stage because of diabetes I thought it was ridiculous. Using a cart during a 6 round tournament + 2 practice rounds if Florida heat/humidity is an advantage. I don't want an advantage, I just want a level playing field. Something out of my control that makes me tired and foggy headed is a disadvantage. There is a ton of room for abuse which is the problem. This time when I quit my T I upped the amount of anti-depressant I was taking from 150 mg of Wellbutrin to 200 and it has helped the energy level. Still feel pretty stupid with mental fog but oh well.

As for the college golf it would be a fun event to go watch. Kids really trying to win for love of the game, can't beat that! I was watching Bronson melt down online with live coverage, it was brutal to watch. The shot on 18 was so incredible after that meltdown.

As for the murder at the club I grew up at...last week the pilates instructor no-showed her first appointment at 6 am. Evidently that has never happened before. They found her the next day in a field north of Dallas beaten to death. It is a very nice club, not the 150k to join type, but probably 50k.....only say that to show it isn't in the hood. There is a separate building that when I was a kid was 4 indoor hitting bays with cameras etc. It has since been turned into 2 bays and the other 2 have become a workout/pilates studio. The murder happened in there and the guy (x-boyfriend shocker) dragged her out and drove her in her car north and dumped the body. He then headed west and was caught at the Grand Canyon this weekend. He tried to run and jump into the canyon but only fell 25 feet and f'ed himself up...have fun in jail as$hole. It was a little weird the other day being in the actual room a brutal murder happened in just a few days earlier. Crazy.

Today down the line quite a few swings. I show which way the ball moved and if it was good by hand gesture.

Feeling good, working on right leg activation and trying for a little less cup on the left wrist in down swing. No idea if that is right or if I am doing it but hit these range balls pretty good today.

Headed to Santa Fe for the weekend then a solid week of practice before Nelson Pre-Q and US Open Locals....

Bump.

I could do this all day with how far back I was preaching Como's greatness.

He's a great dude and is the hardest worker in the game on the instruction side. Really happy to see him get the job he's wanted all along.

i know scott hits the ball a mile but i too was a little surprised by narrowness of stance and especially not that much wrist-cocckk. impressed you hit it so far with no huge amounts of lag ... looks good in general and FYI i was grunching here.
