How are the United Arab Emirats events, not to mention the whole Race to Dubai, so un-controversial in the golf community?

I mean - they import foreigners that they basically abuse like slaves, they have sharia-laws with flogging and stoning, women who get raped are imprisoned and punished for being raped, homosexuals are considered criminals and people are whipped and punished for stuff the civilized world consider non-criminal and/or trivial (like having a drink) and yet the golf elite flock to them like there's no issue?

Yea - money - but there are a number of elite golfers who have more than enough money to make a stand, so that can't be the main issue when they still show up to, directly or indirectly, give their support to a country/region that doesn't give a **** about human rights or what the rest of us considers a civilized society?

Yes, but just wait 20 years when he can't chip, drive, putt, or hit an iron anymore!

According to the commentators Mikael Lundberg used a local caddy that he picked out of 47 that were there. Would have been sick if he won it with a local caddy.

He got 3rd.

forgot that this thread was here

I went to the final round of the BMW championship, 1st event I have ever attended had no sleep before so I was lol tired when I got there. Was super fun though mainly stuck around to watch Bjorn and Kaymer, I noticed that every shot they hit felt so effortless unless they was ripping it.

1 thing I would do differently is reserve a seat on the 18th grand stand, So many people at the 18th if you don't get there a couple hours early you will get a ****ty view.

All in all though was very good. May try and go to the St Andrews this year.

Marcus Kinhult, an amateur born 1996 is sharing the lead in Nordea Masters. Really impressive. This guy is actually sick. He finished the equivalent to american high school in sweden which is three years in only one year. He's been crushing all year
