Hey guys, my buddy and I recently booked a trip to florida for a long weekend to play some golf .

I don't really travel for golf much and am from New Jersey so really don't know much about courses in Florida.. we are flying into Fort Lauderdale and playing in Naples, we would like to play in laudedale when we land so looking for a recommendation for one corse in that area

After that we r driving to Naples and playing 36 the first day and 18 the next...

So al in all I would like recommendations for one course in Fort Lauderdale, one course in Naples and then also maybe a place with multiple courses and or a good replay rate for the day we play 36... our budget will be from 50-100 per round but we decided that one of the rounds we will splurge on and spend up to around 200 give or take

We are thinking about maybe playing one of the doral courses for the one we splurge on, but if anyone knows any nicer/better value courses either in Lauderdale and Naples by all means throw some at me

I know this is long and kind of all over the place but as I said I've never traveled to Florida for golf and reallybwanna make the best out of this 3 day trip... thanks so much guys... also tge exact dates of the trip r flying into Florida Thursday feb9th landing at 8 am and departing Florida to come home that Sunday at 11 am

The courses at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples (Tiburon) are very nice. There are two courses but I don't believe either checks in at under $200 a round at this time of year.

I don't think you will find anything really cheap. Lely Resort has two courses and is not too expensive. The courses are nothing special but are usually in good shape. There is a course that I have never played called Eagle Lakes which is south of the city, before you head into the Everglades. I have no idea if it's any good, but it's as inexpensive as you'll probably get, and it looks very interesting, with a ton of water.

This time of year in Florida it will be expensive and crowded no matter where you go. Unfortunately I don't know the areas you are going to be in. If you were up in St Lucie or Orlando I would have had recommendations.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion, I actually booked 36 at lely for my second day there and 18 at a course called old corkscrew the day I arrive... so that just leave one more round I need to cover and i may just not book anything and wing it/get suggestions from someone at the other 2 courses..both rounds at lely r 150 each as is the round at old corkscrew

I was going to recommend Old Corkscrew so good choice there.

Tiburon is nice but probably not the amount they charge you this time of year as mentioned before.
