Couple sets of irons and a 5 wood for sale. Mizuno ProII 3-PW + a 256.12 Chrome Vokey wedge. They have DG s300's . I just removed the shaft bands and turned the ferrules on them and put new Lamkin 25th anniversary .580 core round grips on them. Grooves are good on them. $90 shipped.

Next is a pretty nice set of 1993-1994 Hogan Apex Ft. Worth irons. 3-E but the 4 iron needs a shaft. I took these on trade and the 4 iron was missing. I found a nice head to match but never got around to doing it. They only made these two years and they are one of the most popular sets of Apex ever made. These need grips too because they have crooked ass ribbed grips on them. $65 shipped

Like new Titleist 904F 19 degree 5 wood. I ordered this for myself a few years ago and never played with it. I hit maybe 5 balls with it. Has stiff flex Fujikura Speeder for Titleist shaft and Titleist full cord tour wrap grip. $45 shipped.

I like stand bags better than cart or tour bags just because I cannot be bothered to walk around stuff with my trolley lol...

Was wondering anyone know of any good or durable bags out there or good makes....I had nike before. I heard sun mountain is a good option am I hearing right?

I have had 2 Ping Hoofers over the last 12 years. The first one I had was still good too had I not hit the leg and bent it a little out of frustration. I am not sure how durable the newer ones are but the Ping Hoofers I have had have been great bags all around.

And yeah, I have heard good things about Sun Mountain, although I have never used one.

Noob question:

I got fitted for Taylor Made R11s today. Hit them great and want to buy a set. I got priced at $825 from the fitter, but they are listed at $520 on GolfSmith. GolfSmith has the same shaft and flex, but I'm not sure I can customize to the loft, length, and lie that numbers the fitter gave me. Furthermore I'm not even sure if those numbers are non-standard as I don't think he made many adjustments in that regard, besides lengthening them half an inch because I am a tall guy.

So my question is whether I still need to go through the fitter or if I am better off not? Also is there a way to customize the length of shaft through a standard retailer and save money?

Just take your measurements to golfsmith, they can custom order the set with the numbers you got from your fitter for no additional cost
