I can't read this thread because I'm watching my recording and am far away from real time. Just wanna ask where these rakes are. There's 1000 bunkers and I haven't seen one rake or one messy bunker. It's weird.

TheRick: Don't know if you're serious? At most big events, there are grounds-crew stationed on each hole to fill divots, rake bunkers, etc. between groups. They probably have the rakes.

What I want to know is if, during normal play at this course, the caddies carry rakes with them, or they really just station hundreds and hundreds of rakes throughout the course. I'm assuming the caddies carry a rake, but I'm sure others ITT have played the course.

Heh, yeah I was serious, thank you. I mean I'm newish to golf and every bunker I see has a rake by it. This course has 1000 bunkers and zero rakes, so I was curious.

Not the case. I can think of one course in the U.S. where they have ppl raking the bunkers (Oakmont ... nitBO correct me if I'm wrong here) and maybe a few more in the U.K. In tournament golf, the caddie is raking the bunkers and replacing the fairway divots 99% of the time.

He doesn't have to win. There are scenarios where a T-2 finish moves him to World Number One.
