Yeah I don't get him being a douche but Reed is ok. Regardless, people yelling at Rory and Sergio is unacceptable behavior. I do agree with whoever said it was a minority tho.

It all seemed a bit over the top at times this weekend. Hell of a Cup though. Best since 99 I think.

Oh hell no - fvck the Euros in the Cup...especially Sergio. The **** he/they pull when the Cup is played over there is much worse. Little Sergio is lucky he didn't get whacked over the head. He is the king euro DB.

Don't understand why anyone is complaining about anyone with this one. The cup wouldn't have been what it was without Rory being willing to goad the crowd. There is nothing douchy about shushing hecklers, they want a reaction!

As far as the fans this is the one event where they can come out and be partisan. Plus US has been getting their ass kicked repeatedly for a long time now, they want to create a home field advantage. Euros will have their own fans at the next cup. Everyone in those stands will be cheering for Rory if he ends up back at Hazeltine coming down the back 9 in a PGA Championship or US Open

I thought it was all pretty boring and wasn't too excited about any of it. (Reed Rory match being exception) Maybe it was the course or maybe it became a little much with all the fist pumping and celebrating and cheering every single hole and shot. Maybe the format is overblown but to me the end of the FedEx was alot better.

Yeah the fist-pumping and yelling gets a little silly, but maybe it's just because pro golfers are so soft and nerdy that they don't look natural doing it.

It is certainly an overblown spectacle at this point but pretty fun to watch as exhibitions go.

Rory made this whole thing so much better by being willing to play along and go after the hecklers - I have no idea why anyone would complain about the added entertainment.

Totally agree. This is not a snorefest PGA tournament. It is about emotion, taking a side and cheering like crazy. In fact I bet every player under the age of 50 loves it that way. Except those whineybutts.

Yeah I think some of these guys feel like they have to try and get pumped up while others like Poulter/reed/rory genuinely do go ape ****, esp with opposing crowds giving them constant ****. I thought this Cup was super entertaining not because of the emotion really, but because of the level of golf. These guys played unreal, both sides. Was really fun to watch.
