by U.S. Open you mean PGA Championship right?

i'm not going, but i went to the PGA event there in 2011. we parked at Carowinds and took the buses to the property. i'm guessing the same thing will be in effect for the PGA. note that this will eat up a bunch of time. also, once you get onsite you get in line and wait to go through security which took a long time too.

teaching pro at my local driving range rallied late to get to 3-under which showed as being on better side of the cut line... alas, it looks like cut is moving to minus 4

WTF with the bunker ruling with Woodland?? You can't make your normal stance because of what the bunker is made of so you get relief? That's BS.

That's called having a clue about the rules of golf. Which very few do.

And it wasn't because of what the bunker was made of, it was because there wasn't enough sand near the lip and his foot was on the liner of the bunker and unable to gain traction as he could if there was sand there. Basically a funky form of GUR.
