It's funny, I had been thinking the past couple of days about how Speef just has a flare for the dramatic, and then that.. Unreal.

I think what's going to make Speef special is that he REALLY loves playing golf.

Spieth ran so good today. 2 tee shots looked like they were wet and took incredibly soft bounces and hung up on the edge of the hazard. Then the bounce off the tree on the playoff hole right into the middle of the fairway.

Not taking anything away from him though, was clutch when it counted most. 10 career victories already, pretty impressive.

Awesome win by Speef. Hopefully they get a bunch more top players next year since the US Open will be much closer.

Aside. Every time the wife and I walk the 1st hole she has to needle me how she birdied it In high school and how I still even haven't played it.

Thx for the pics 00cooler00. Nothing like seeing the pros hit it. I find it hard to leave the range/practice area most of the time.

and yeah Speef is pretty good. Even better competitor. Doesn't have the physical gifts of Tiger or Jack, yet here we are.

Spieth's physical talents are underrated imo. Not as if he's a short hitter. He's a pretty big strong guy - averages 291 off the tee. Middle of the pack these days on tour, but plenty long. Only 7 yards less than Berger for ex., who is known as a bomber. Combine that with his ability to hit GIR and his putting, guess that's why he keeps winning.

Berger is quickly becoming one of my favorites on tour. Wish he would have pulled it off. Pretty sure ive backed speith the last 4 weeks he has played, not this week of course. Also pretty sure theres not one person who calls sporting events i dislike more
