Harris English was an 84 today. after i read about him yesterday shooting 60-63 in US Open Qualifying (not this year. just stumbled on it checking this year's scores)...

17 has never been this hard, has it? I wouldn't say it's unfair, but the margin for disaster seems a lot smaller.

Yeah the first bounce is a lot more with the new greens. Really should just aim a yard or 2 short of middle because landing near the pin is 50/50 water ball.

In Round 2, Scott Piercy, normally pretty solid, had TWO quintuple-bogeys. Not sure I've ever seen that before.

for the best field in golf, that's a pretty motley leaderboard. If Louis Oosthuizen ever wins in the US, it'll be tomorrow on these hard and (relatively) slow greens.
