Correct. Basically any professional or USGA event all golfers receive this. In DJ's case at the PGA the local rule was also posted all over the locker room.

Sadly, most golfers on every level simply chuck the info inside the bag never to be read. Once, in a mini-tour event, on the rules sheet there was a line stating $100 to the first person to show this to an official. Heard it took 10 groups off both sides before somebody noticed it. Sadly I was in the afternoon wave that day.

great story.... so sad that it's true...

what was the issue with a local rule yesterday? i only watched sporadically

impressive play.... i did some cursory googling. i see tiger had a 7 stroke lead after 36 holes. but i think that WGC so smaller field.

WOW at what just happened to Lexi Thompson at the LPGA's first major. She's up by 3 strokes playing the final 9 holes and was just told she is being assessed a 4 stroke penalty on what a viewer noticed about how she marked a putt during the 3rd round. Brought her to tears. Now she is 2 strokes back of the lead.

One of the best pressure iron shots I've ever seen by Lexi here on #18. I really hope she puts a good roll on this upcoming eagle putt.

Lexi literally shaking before and after that iron shot (her right hand visibly shaking).

edit: in tears walking to #18 green. This is some epic ****.

Didn't they institute a 30-second shot clock this year or something close to that? Sang makes Kevin Na look like a speed demon, and they wonder why the audience viewership is slipping away.

Downloaded the Masters app, they've added Chromecast support to the live video feeds which is awesome. Will be able to watch the early featured groups on the HDTV.
