Well at least you're consistent.

There is debris errywhere on this course. I'm guessing spectators aren't allowed. There are like, none.

what is making this course so hard today?

The course mixed with gusty and fairly strong winds

It would be a lot more interesting if it didn't seem like Snedeker was a lock. Choi not giving up though.

Not good shot on 18 leaving zero chance to make that putt

Solid career for Sneds. 8 wins now at 36 years of age. Has a real shot at double digits.

4 of 8 wins coming when trailing by 5 or more going into the last day. Pretty nutty.

I only heard the Choi shot on the radio, was on the road. They said he was trying to decide between an 8 and 9 iron from like 113 yards. wtf, I thought that hole was crosswind or downwind. Was he just trying to flight it under the wind? They said he went 8 because he was worried the 9 would spin too much. Getting a birdie was a pretty big ask but Kevin Streelman had just done it a couple groups earlier.

Scott Brown also parred the final hole...for his first par since the 6th hole yesterday. He went from T1 to T49 over the course of 12 holes.

Wind was almost 180 from yesterday. Leaders having to play 14, 15 and 18 straight into the wind was a big disadvantage against Snedeker. 12 and 16 also played much tougher.

Standard cold front the week of the golf tourney here in Scottsdale...seems to happen more often than not. Looks like it will just be a little chilly Thursday/Friday and then get back up to normal for the weekend.

TPC Scottsdale is going to feel like an executive course for these pro's after battling Torrey South in those conditions!

Yeah looking at those final rd Torrey scores it was a serious bloodbath. Looks like 78 or so avg.

The Sunday pin on that hole makes it very easy to spin a wedge right back in the water.

Just watched the replay with sound, you are right. While what Snedeker did was amazing, he also got incredibly lucky. The leaders played into the wind to the far end of the course yesterday, then resumed play today...and played into the wind all the way home. They played 5, 7, 9, 10, 14, 15, 17, and 18 into the wind and the holes in between were all crosswind. Walker and Choi couldn't get home in two on 15 - Choi's three wood from the fairway came up fifty yards short. 14 was impossible because it was playing a mile long and hangs on the cliff. Snedeker got to play these two both straight downwind, and while that presents a challenge of its own it's still far preferable to having no chance of even reaching in two.

Thems the breaks though, and Snedeker's back nine was nonetheless quite a feat. Choi's was probably just as remarkable, albeit six shots higher.

Not this year, totally different course conditions than what happened to Kyle Stanley a few years back. Just look at Sned's pitch from behind the green, it was moving pretty quick coming off the hill and barely reached the fringe, let alone the bank and then the water.

You are right, it didn't actually happen this year now that I think about it.

Bubba press conference today after asked why he likes TPC Scottsdale so much (fair question since he always plays well here)

"I'm just here because of my sponsors"

WOW.com just no filter and the most selfish answer ever. He needs to take a page out of Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Spieths playbook on how to handle media and fans IMHO

Yeah he's always been pretty unlikeable but then he tries so hard for people to like him on Twitter, etc and then he just falls off the rails and says stupid crap and then blames his caddy for every single missed putt
