Spieth's career is over. He let the success get to his head, and doesn't have the work ethic that Tiger did. Not saying it's a bad thing, not many have that drive and will that guys like Tiger and Jordan had, just stating a fact. Had a good year last year though. Might be time to start thinking about secondary careers.

It's clear Speith is done. He is only winning at a rate of 1/5 or 20%. That puts him near the bottom of the PGA obviously.

Another pathetic low energy performance from little Jordan this week. Loser!

Not trolling. Just saying we anointed him the next Tiger, and he isn't. He's just another guy on tour that has won a few tournaments, but can't dominate the way he would like to.

If not trolling, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Spieth is anything but average and far from being just another guy

-2 thru 9 today

But is there another golfer where being 2 under through nine, in one random round, would be presented as some sort of proof of anything?

He's struggling recently. That much is fair to say. But to say he has been overhyped is not fair... he earned the hype last season. But past performance does not guarantee future results. Every week they are all starting at even par, and the competition is tougher than ever on tour. We'll probably never see a prolonged stretch of domination like Tiger again.

I know hey. It's been FOUR tourneys since he won. Dude is so washed up.

Missing the point. He's clearly not washed up. Never said he was. But stat-wise there are some areas that have shown a big drop-off from last season so far. Putting, sand play, etc. He certainly cannot be considered a Masters favorite right now with the way Scott, Bubba, and Phil are playing.

Enlighten me on how someone who is currently 14th this year in Strokes Gained Tee to green and like 7th overall is struggling? On top of this he has already won this year.

We heard the same garbage last year when he shot like +4 in one round last year and them came back and shot 61 I think it was the following day.

Hes won 20% of his starts in like his last 30 events. Clearly struggling....

Strokes gained putting 19th this year 9th last year

His sand game is atrocious this year I will agree

He is also still top 20 in scoring average this year.

Cliffs: Jordan is fine and will be a top 5 masters favorite

Future eras are so ****ed when it comes to analyzing sports if they continue with this what have you done for me lately mindset about every Damn team or player. Month to month, week to week and eventually day to day. Hell possibly hour to hour. This isn't even a valid discussion I can't believe we're actually having it.

All I was saying is that he isn't dedicated and driven in the same way that Tiger was. Did Tiger ever miss multiple cuts in a season during his prime? Take time off to rest? No he grinded and obsessed about being great. Rory and Spieth, hell not many are cut from that type of cloth.

Spieth is obviously very worried about the state of his game and his future, because his hairline is receding more and more every week....

Of course it's a valid discussion. I get it, Jordan's a nice kid. I hope he keeps doing well. But Jesus enough with jumping down anyone's throat if they suggest he's scuffling a little bit the past few weeks. He is. He'll probably snap out of it sooner rather than later. He may remain #1 in the world, or he may be a solid Top 10 or Top 20 or Top 30 player. He may be the next Tiger or the next Dufner. I don't know and neither do you.

First round co-leader Keegan Bradley shot 79 and missed the cut by 1. Ouch.

Go Stricker. (I read a recent article that he has a new nickname on tour, Sasquatch. Because he rarely plays now seeing him on the course is more rare than spotting Bigfoot. Caddies are weird.)

I'll be shocked if Stricker holds up on a hard golf course like this at his age without even playing much. 3-4 years ago he would be the runaway favorite. Go Canadian, Moore, or Stenson!
