Do you think that now he has made top 50 that he has it in him to progress to be a top golfer?

I'm from the UK, but I've been intrigued by his progress via the threads here and wish him to kick on and do well in the future.

I have him as a different colour on the PGA stats you can pick so I can see where he is.

Will with a T15 at Riv, will probably move him up to 45 or 46 in the OWGR.

Ship probably has some very, very interesting stories to tell from the last week. Nothing to do with golf though.

didn't watch the broadcast but did watch most of the 3d highlights on PGA.
he really needs to get that putting stroke sorted. he's made a couple over the past few days but there were also a few that look like my sunday morning stroke after a saturday night 12 pack.

Will’s solid week should move him to 41st or 42nd in the world ranking pretty much cinching an invite to some quaint tournament in Georgia next month.

Won my first ever golf bet today, had Will today's round over Sergio, Westwood, Ancer, C Smith and one other I forget...and Will was the only one under par

Sweet, this is excellent news. Hate for some loophole due to covid to have cost him a well earned invite to some quaint tournament in Georgia next month.

I kinda forgot it was coming again so soon!

Will currently at 43 in the OWGR. he just needs to hold a top 50 OWGR ranking to the week before the Masters

In the match play this coming week which should result in some OWGR points (all but the bottom 4 in 2019 got some points; so if you half or win a match it seems you get points) - can't see him not getting into Augusta

Will should get points but other players will as well.

There are 24 players currently behind Will in the OWGR that will be playing in the Match Play. The increased points for a WGC event means that a player that gets hot can jump many places.

Yes, I think he's in Augusta as well. But it is possible that several players behind him in the OWGR can leapfrog him with a good week.

Yeah great points; it seems guys slip slowly when they're playing well but you're right about a number of guys being able to get a lot of points to jump ahead, too

Such fun memories to go back through. I have a webinar in a bit but I'll try to catch up on the rest soon.
The podcast with Will (like all the others) was absolutely awesome. Made my flight home from Vegas last week fly by. Loved the one where you looked at Finau's top tens too. Everyone should check it out if you haven't yet:

10 of the 16 players advancing out of the group stage are ranked behind Will. He will not move ahead of anybody since the gap between him and the next guy was significant and also the next guy was Sergio who is advancing. The guy right behind him is MacIntyre who advanced and is guaranteed to gain enough points to pass Will. Pretty sure the other 9 all need to make it at least to the semis to pass him. But at least one of those will make the semis as one four person pod has all guys ranked behind him.

So as of now, best case is that 3 of the 4 semifinalists are all already ranked ahead of Will and that he only drops 1 spot to 44 with the one semifinalist losing and ending up just short of Will in the rankings. I'd say he drops to at least 45.
