Probably. She's actually playing well for the first time in her 10 year career.

You can tell because the media mentions her name 76 times per hour instead of only 76 times per hour when she is sucking.

Eight years ago she finished 3rd, 5th, 3rd and 26th in the majors. She finished 2nd and 3rd two majors the years before, thus the hype.

Its hard to believe Michelle is still only 24. It seems like she should be 40 or something.

I have been waiting to see if the new event I have been thinking about volunteering for ever puts out a call... They finally seem to have a website which is something I guess. The volunteer fee (which I always just shake my head at) is $55 and they ask for 3 six hour shifts. Pretty reasonable and would leave a lot of time to watch the tournament.

Edit: Obv can't wait to see if Wie is playing...

Looks like I forgot to post about this, but I decided to merge the two LPGA megathreads since Booker has only bothered to make one on a bi-annual basis. I liked the idea of all LPGA discussion under one roof, and can easily still edit the title to give forum browsers an adequate idea of how much Wieeeeeeeeeeeee they will find inside.

Also, iirc the swinging skirts event is on golf channel starting tonight. Go Wie!

Didn't quite stay awake until the end of coverage last night, but lots of big names on the leader board. Really like the course, too - old school tree lined course, greens with some serious slope, but possible to score.

Really a solid finish to this event. Good TV, really good play by all of the contenders. Except I have no idea WTF happened to Hee Young Park.

Wie got a lot of screen time for someone who was never a serious contender, but she did finish ~ 10th so it was a good week for her.

Caddied in the pro-am again and just got back from watching.

Had Il Hee Lee (had her last year too) and Nicole Castrale in the pro-am. Both very nice and fun. Castrale pretty easy on the eyes too.

Driving range right on the way out and you could stand pretty close. Watched Gerina Piller hit for quite awhile. Damn she's pretty frickin' hot!

Munoz is so cute and beautiful, wow!

Lexi hits it far, hit 18 in 2 easily.

Natalie Gulbis damn near hit me with that wild second shot on 16th. She got pretty lucky and had a pretty standard 20 yard pitch that she should have gotten up and down. Smokin' hot as long as she keeps those sunglasses on.

Christina (BOOBS) Kim made the worst double bogey i've ever seen from the middle of the fairway on 16. She'll be kicking herself for that if she doesn't win tomorrow.

Wie's putting looks just as dumb in person.

Think that's about it. Quite a few names I didn't recognize. Was pretty fun, would go again.
