After watching his first 4 holes today (+3), I was just cringing, thinking, why is he putting himself through this crap. Luckily for the bounce back, but you gotta respect his demeanour and fight; he's fighting a tough uphill mental war atm.

Or, maybe it's that once he stops caring, he can play well.

That's part of the mental aspect of the game, that Tiger has been (obviously) failing at--which includes 'fight and demeanor', as I mentioned.

was como actually tiger's coach or was he just a 3rd eye, independent eye etc.?... i don't see it as a big deal that he's splitting with him, but obv. what he does with the next coach (no coach?) is important?

to me, it's either 1) go back to butch, 2) go to a butch clone or 3) go it on your own... i would NOT entertain anything else....... i know tiger says his knee couldn't withstand butch's swing but A) i'm not even sure that's accurate in itself B) surely butch could have worked with tiger to work around that.

Tiger needs a fiery dude like Stevie Williams on his bag, more than he needs a competent coach like Harman.

Someone really needs to tell Tiger that it is perfectly ok to make a birdie before he makes his first bogey.

GOAT is starting to look good. His game is getting super super close to being very very good again. Will be playing the weekend no problem so getting 2 more rounds in will be great
