Hey guys. I am from Gisborne, East Coast. Got to Auckland late last year, just bumming around and not doing a lot. Wouldn't mind finding a cash game that's cheaper than the casino in Auckland. Does it exist? I'm poor.

Anyway... RagingAZN, I'll join the group. I live in the city and don't know any locals in Auckland.

plenty of cash games in pubs out in south aucks last time I was up there. Just go to a pub poker night and ask around... .often will be immediately after the free stuff.

Hey man. That sounds really interesting. I've only been in the city and not ventured out into the dodginess of south auckland too often. Might be worth a look. Any bars in particular? What kind of cash game were they playing?

Maybe I should just go find out for myself.

Any of the bars around Papatoetoe and Manukau. Iquana, Cactus Jacks (bar diagonal from Rainbowsend). I played one in Mangere but it was pretty dodgy.. .I pretty much dumped my chips and left.

Alot of $10 or $20 sng's or 18man sng's. Some 25c/50c cash games also.
