Re: Travelling with criminal record

Thanks for the info. But against all better judgement, I am still going to attempt to cross the border in a couple hours. I will update when I get over or if I get refused. I will be attempting to cross at the Niagara Peace Bridge.

good luck, probably a good idea to "forget" about your criminal record

Thanks, but I didn't even need to forget about it because I never got asked.

YESSSS!!!!!! I'm currently in Buffalo waiting for my flight to Vegas! I'm so happy I can't even put it into words. I was incredibly anxious/nervous about this situation. I crossed the border via land at the Niagara crossing and was only asked "where I'm going" and "are you carrying any currency". After that the customs officer took me and my brothers passports, took them in his booth for literally 5-8 seconds and then handed them back and we were on our way. It was incredibly fast and easy- guess I did run good

I was ****ting myself when he took the passports because I figured he would scan them, but he either didn't scan them or I didn't show up on the database.

So happy lol drinks on me this weekend!

How is being questioned at a border BS when somebody in your party admits to not meeting entrance requirements? Visiting a foreign country is a privilege, not a right
