Re: Thailand Chatter Thread
no need to visit colleges, so much uni girl eye candy everywhere you look in BKK, try mbk, siam square, even BTS/MRT train rides are never dull.
I'd go to Soi cowboy over nana plaza, but you'll probably end up visiting both while you're here. Nana plaza just seems too sleezy/scummy, even for a red light district.

Re: Thailand Chatter Thread
Good to know, skytrain seems key. Question about soapies- I'm assuming its ok to ship the girls or am I wrong? If you can ship what's the courteous way to go about that? Kind of a noob question but I just want to be respectful.

What sort of race track are you talking about? Bira right outside Pattaya?
I would add one of the rooftop restaurants for a quick drink.
Skip colleges. You will see enough of school girls every where else. Go to Thong Lo...

Re: Thailand Chatter Thread
Just go to a place where it's expected, you won't have to say anything really. Take the MRT to Huai Kwan (spelling?) in Ratchada, one past the Cultural Center. There's a bunch of soapies there and you can just go through the selection. Go early afternoon, when the hot girls aren't tired yet.
Try Japanese bbq and VIP cinema as well. Best bbq's are in Thonglor, best cinema is in Central World (600bht/ticket) or the Enigma in Paragon for 3k/2 tickets.

you know the girls that work in these places are whores right? they get shipped like 5-10 times a day so dont worry about it man just get to business, you can just tell her what you want to do and shes gonna prob be down. also i rec you go to soapy, then cowboy, then nana. since youre from a random part of thailand without much degen stuff you are going to prob love these places and just be like "**** rca and qbar i'm just gonna rinse and repeat these 3 places!"
ps-make sure you go with dan j so you get charged extra farang tax

Re: Thailand Chatter Thread
chao phya has a rep for being straightforeward and not trying to rip you off just because you are a falang.
expect to pay between 500-2000 baht more if you go via taxi.

Re: Thailand Chatter Thread
And if you are a tourist you can probably skip the mexican food in BKK. It isn't great. It is good for expats who really miss it, but I don't think it should be on your to-do list.

i mean most obv bogus story ever, i actually spoke to the scammer on the phone, and he wasn't american as he claimed, and wasn't english either, when i first started talking to him he affected a posh english accent, but that degenerated into some sort of turkish accent (hard to place).
just wondering if there is a forum thai girls will read so they don't get scammed like this.
the scammer/s are obviously targetting dating websites, taking advantage of thai girls poor english, and desperation for a rich falang husband etc, and taking advantage of their good nature obviously.
anyone know a good forum/site to place a warning.
my gfs friend doesn't have $1500 anyway, so the scam is obv not going to work, but she has been worried for a couple of days about the poor guys son who is in malaysia without his father etc. and also 3 weeks of chatting up on the internet etc

They covered a lot of this on thai TV just now. About 30 minutes worth of interviews and stuff with people who had gotten scammed and they talked with the police also, so there is some focus on it.
Apparently its often a farang/thai team scamming the thais. Even farang women scamming thai guys also. They email fake flight plans to show when they arrrive etc. and tell them they are bringing a ton of money (one farang woman claimed she had 25 mil baht with her) and even call them and ask if they will pick them up at the airport. They then have the thai partner call and act like a lawyer or whatever and try to get people to wire money. Some woman paid 100k baht and a thai guy, who claimed he was suspicious, still sent like 40k baht. I guess greed got the better of him.
