God damn rainy season.
Yeah the girls are hot here and put out. All the girls from the countryside head over here since it's college town so lots of youngins walking around. Clubs are always busy. Very high percentage of population in Taipei are college students.

It just seemed like a much more business-like and westernized country than Thailand. The people as a whole didn't really seem happy and it showed in everything. They weren't particularly friendly, prices were high [well relative to Thailand], the nightlife was limited and the food was really bland. The ass shorts and boots combo was nice, but it was weird. If they weren't wearing that (which obv like 99% of people weren't) then they were dressed like they were going to a funeral.
True. This is pretty std for China though. And most of the world on weekdays. Not that it's a good thing. The people get pretty friendly when their not on their daily routine, or you just stop to talk to them ... or head out into the countryside where life slows down and people can chillax.
Yes Taipei is expensive. But it's a capital city. About the same price as Shanghai/Beijing, far less than Seoul/Tokyo. Not sure about Bangkok.
