News About Your Account
Please be advised that due to recent regulatory changes you are now listed as residing in a territory for which we are not licensed to take gaming transactions.

We are therefore unable to accept any further transactions from your account.

That means you will no longer be able to place sports bets, play in the casino or on poker, but your account will remain open to allow withdrawals.

Please note, from the 15th of July 2015 you will be unable to access the BetVictor website. We would please ask you to remove any funds from your account before that date.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your custom.

I get this e-mail from betvictor.com at 02.07.2015
I tried to find some information on internet but I found nothing about this regulatory changes.

Thks for the answer,

I have some stuff to take with me, like my computer (its big) so I was thinking to come by car.

Is it a problem to have a car in the center (I obv plan to live near the center), is it useless or good in your opinion?

Well it's 1) useless and 2) a hassle (I moved in the center/old town). I'm moving out of Prague 1 in 2 days and I'm soooo looking forward to it. The point of having a car in Prague would be to be able to drive outside the city more conveniently, but besides that I don't see the point.

car not necessary (seems to be more of a pain in the ass for most ppl that i know that have one), praha has one of the best public transport (trams, busses, metro, trains) systems in the world. for example, last weekend i take the train to Lysa nad Labem for music / summer movie event. it is 36 minutes by train. my round trip ticket costs 68 crowns ($2.72). with the opencard, you don't start getting charged on the train until you leave the outskirts of praha.

the cost of the yearly opencard pass was just reduced too (equivalent to $13 USD/month).

imho praha 1 and 2 are overrated to live in (if you're staying for a week or month, sure go ahead). too many tourists, homeless and sketchy types looking to target tourists milling about. consider praha 6 or 7.

bringing parts and buying case can be an option imo ...
car is not needed here in most city center area you have zones and need residency or owners approval that you can park there

All these Prague food festivals in the summer, and I'm going to miss every single one of them, even the bi-weekly Street Food Jam.

I'm currently in Prague for 5 days before going back home, what's the best place (relatively near the city centre) to play some live games? Was looking for a donkament first but everything I found is like 400kc so is there anything bigger?

Hey guys. My name is James. I'm a 25 yo Irish grinder and i'm looking to move to Prague shortly for ~6 months. My plan is to go for a holiday for a week first in the next month and look for potential places to rent out/party hard/check out live poker scene. Are there any of you in the Prague poker community that I could facebook or PM to ask a few questions first before I leave?

Peace

The grinders I met here aren't too much into live poker so I can't really tell more than this.

Hey guys I'm out for tomorrow. Gotta reduce my Schengen days so I'm headed to Bucharest a little early. Have fun and don't get run over by a Segway.
