Thank you in advance!

Letting agents won't normally do less than 6 months, as Swish said, airbnb is your best bet.

With internet contracts I think it's difficult to get anything under 6 months, but a lot of apartments will already have internet in place, particularly the ones available for short term leases.

True, but short term leases prices will be so over market price, another thing is that internet that runs in these apartments are usually pretty bad quality. any aditional advice?

If you want less than 6 months you're going to have to pay a bit over market price but you should still be able to find places with solid internet. The quality of internet in Prague is generally quite high.

Ikea does delivery if you're fine with the chairs/desks they have. As for monitors you can try Euronics or type the reference in google.cz and you'll find a bunch of Czech shops, I haven't done that yet though, but I was considering buying a screen soon.

Any experience with the cash game action during the EPT and Prague Poker Festival?

What is the rake?

Does O8, PLO8, or Big O get spread? Limits?

Thanks

Hello grinders!

Arriving in a few days and i'm gonna stay there till Xmas, anyone up to some tennis matches?

Also and sorry if this has been asked before, what's the max amount of CZK that i can cashout with Neteller? Are the fees brutal?

I don't use Neteller, my bank outside Czech Republic does € to CZK without fees so I use that. 1€=27.something CZK and Neteller will give you 26.something CZK (what I heard from friends), then you have 4€ ATM fees. I assume that the max you can cashout = the max you can cash out in €/$ converted to CZK.

Sucking at Tennis btw so I'm out

Anyone looking for a cool apartment to stay at for EPT Prague in December?

Let me know. I have four apartments that are all primo: 2 blocks from subway (10 minutes to venue, or a cool, 20-minute walk), in Prague's nicest residential neighborhoods. All have super-fast wifi connection, cable tv, fully stocked. Many pubs, restaurants, cafes and everything else you'll want right out the front door.

I've been reading the whole topic, and i must say it's an interesting one.

I'm looking for a new country to visit, and settling down in Prague for a few months sounds like a pleasant idea. The city looks great, it's kinda inexpensive and live poker looks decent. I'll give it a shot.

I'm a 29yo french grinder, i use to play both online and live. I'm looking for a single appartment or a shared one, i wouldnt mind having (a) roommate(s) if the atmosphere is good.

I'm pretty sure to come in a few weeks, to say the least, so if u know any housing opportunities, let me know

Also thinking of giving Prague a shot, I play both online and live. Anyone know of any free rooms in a poker house going? I should be there in the next 2-3 weeks, will likely make a stop at WSOPE first. Send me a PM or skype: rjwells89

Choose the option without conversion. You're always ripped off if you accept a conversion at an ATM. I don't know about Neteller, but using the Skrill card (without converting) I pay 2.5% which is much less than that.
