Hey guys. I have been building my own little website for the last month or so. Thought it was about time to let you guys know.

As you can imagine from the title it is my dream to build a bankroll at the micros and then travel the world, playing poker along the way.

Hopefully you guys will find it interesting. I'm pretty new to the whole blogging, vlogging and twittering seen so bear with me!

https://pokervagabond.org/

let the journey begin!

I just randomly clicked on the travel forum, randomly clicked the link to your site, read the first two paragraphs of your blog, and I already hate you.

Kidding. Partly.

But seriously, I know a lot of people like you. They all spew the same verbal diarrhea about how money is overrated and the "American dream" is empty and yada yada yada.

The common denominator they have is the older they get, the more unhappy they tend to become, and the more they realize their original philosophy was bullsh*t.*. So be careful. But good luck with your blog and your travels, I really mean that. Just be aware there's a time and a place for hard work and someday you'll probably want to have a family, and that requires some level of economic security.

*And then they become Bernie Sanders supporters and think that the people who were working hard in their 20s while they were f*cking around should pay more in taxes so they can get free healthcare, free education, and have a free place to live. But that's beside the point.

Yeah I know what you mean buddy. I have a decent idea of how I come across and do go on to mention that I currently have no family and blah blah blah.

Still excited for the journey regardless!

I would definitely be a Bernie Sanders supporter if I was living in America...it seems anything is better than the greed and destructiveness of Wall Street. I just wish I lived in Canada rather than the UK! We are all going a very dark and dangerous route it seems and it seems pretty obvious that this is changing times in our political system. Look at Germany and your Mr Trump!

Anyway hope you follow for the forseeable future, we shall see what happens!

Hey man I have to say I like reading about your travels etc, travel blogs are always nice.
But for the love of god man the pretentious backpacker preaching is just too much. Talking about how the 'world' and 'system' are flawed, but you're a poker player. If any profession is similar to the wall street that you so despise, it's poker.

Now there's nothing wrong with being a backpacker and having this view on life but you come across extremely self-righteous when you start telling people they're wrong for wanting money and being capitalist.

Nice blog OP. I respect the fact that you are living the life you want to live, and pursuing your passions of poker, traveling and furthering your education in other areas.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you survive off of what you earn at 10NL? Do you have a bunch of money saved up? Do you work side jobs while you travel?

***EDIT*** I just read a few blog posts and it makes more sense

Hey guys!

Yeah totally sorry if I come across pretentious, I do tend to use the 'system' is quotation marks as I don't really like using the term. Also mentioned a few times that travelling isn't for everyone and certainly isn't hard to do! So yeah, definitely not self-righteous...but then I probably am! haha. Just trying to write how I see things, won't get it right all the time!

Cheers for reading guys anyway!

Got anew blog post where I talk about taking time off from playing poker.

I am still plugging away. Many people have told me to quit and that it can't be done. I don't quite believe that's true, at least not yet
