Cebu is a good city to live for poker players (I live here), and the location of the house is good and it is obviously nice.

I'd suggest one of you guys do an extensive write up about living in Cebu in the major Philippines thread, and answer questions about where to stay and where to play live, etc. There are lots of people asking about how Cebu is like and also most of the reg posters there are Manila residents and unable to contribute. There is so little info on how it is like to live in various parts of the PI like Cebu, Davao, Baguio etc; I think lots of people would appreciate a thorough Cebu review, since you guys have been staying there for quite a while now

New Pokerhouse in Cebu!

Being a fellow Pokerstrategist, having followed this crew since they started out and having met some of them already, I'm hijacking their thread.

There are some pokerhouses around in Cebu, but none have any open spots, so I'll be starting up a new one.

Why go to Cebu?

Just like the others who went there I want

- Nice weather
- Nice beaches
- Low living costs (apparantly, for $1.5k you can "live like a king", which what I'd want)
- Other pokerplayers around

What are we going to do?

- Play alot of poker
- Analyse together
- Travel Asia a bit
- Party
- Live a healthy lifestyle (with sports/swimming/chef etc)


Who am I looking for?

- 3-5 NL100+ winning players (PLO/MTT/etc is fine aswell)
- Ready to move rather soon (1-3 months tops)
- Easy and outgoing persons
- Min. stay 4 months, preferably a year

I've already gotten contact info for trustworthy real estate brokers etc by the other crew, so everything should run pretty smooth.

Pretty much wanna set up a similar house, so go through these pages to get an overall idea.

I was thinking about some kind of similar poker trip - since beside poker life seems really nice as compared to the US or big cities in Europe. I was desperated searching on the internet any piece of information and then I saw your post ... Hallelujah ! The few pictures and infos (1.5k/month) just suddently made me feel alive ! This is exactly what I'm looking for.
The only thing is that asap wouldnt be before 5-6 months, in any case I would be very glad to contact you if we can work out something or just talk about how it is there, and poker strats.
