by early next year I will have been in the Phils for 3 years and am planning on taking an extended tour around asia

i will certainly go to bangkok/pattaya/chiang mai/phnom penh/saigon

i am thinking about going to pukhet/sihanoukville/vientine/jakarta/bali

i want to go see and experience as much as i can so that i can be sure that my theory of the phils being the best place for me is correct

i like to stay in each destination for a month to get a real feel for it, and because i kinda hate traveling

i don't like trains, will fly everywhere

any other places i should be checking out? i spend around $900 a month in the Phils and don't want to anywhere that the costs will exceed 1500 a month (meaning no japan or Seoul)

You may want to check out Bandung in Indonesia. I've never been but all my Indonesian clients claim that city has the highest percentage of cute girls.

I've personally never fully understood why you don't live in Pattaya. It's cheap, the girls are great, it's not as ghetto as the Philippines, there's more stuff to do and the internet is reliable(ish).

The best argument against it seems to be the visa situation in Thailand which I agree is frustrating as hell, but still a small price to pay for living in a much more enjoyable place.

the english ability can have it's drawbacks, there are tons of 'sexpat wall of shame' websites written by filipinos, where they call out expats as pedos, criminals, scum, print their name and pics etc., dunno if true or just made up stuff.

from what i've seen filipinas are more vindictive if you cross them. like westerners they dwell on things for ages, whereas thai girls seem to move on and forget things
