Re your handing numbers out to girls: I think it's both good and bad. It was good at the first bar we were at because the three of us were at one table and the girl you liked was at another table. It's quite awkward to approach her here so dropping your number off as we walked out was fine. It looked like you were interested in her and by giving your number to her it gives off a plausible non creepy scenario:

You liked the girl and wanted to talk to her

She was in a difficult to approach spot

You wrote your number down and gave it to her and only her

Awwww how romantic.


In a place like a bar or mall where you can just approach and talk to girls it doesn't work so well. You get a brief glimpse of a girl and hand her your number now these scenarios are going through her head:

Is he walking around with a pocket full of numbers just handing them out?

Is he too shy to just say hi to me, did he really see me and then follow me around while he wrote his number down and then gave it to me?

Is he here with the only purpose of handing out his numbers to girls?

And a lot more creepy scenarios

I also think it sets you up in a bad way by giving you a reward for doing a thing that is going to set you back as far as your progression with picking up women will go. You hand a bunch of numbers (imo bad I'll say why in a bit) eventually you get a crazy filipina and she comes over and you **** her (reward)

I don't see this working in a lot of other countries. By doing this you'll be teaching yourself to make this your default approach method and and it will set you back immensely if you ever move or when you get older and can't pass the "shy foreigner" act. While it does give you that reward sometimes, I think you will have better results and set yourself up for a better future with picking up women if you just use this method in appropriate areas and just talk to girls in other areas. Get past being shy, get more confident and approach girls in person.

If you were to become lazy, you could just become a decent human being that girls would be interested in. Approach them nicely with no underlying intention and then bang 90% of them eventually when they realize that you are worth it and have other goals/interests in life than trying to bang as many 6's as possible.

What site and stakes are you playing?

Keeping the fish stocked with cash means more rake is paid to the site. If the "best" player won all the money, there would be no rake paid at all since he would have all the money. Sites can't rely on re-depositing fish. They'd rather rake the fish's money then have it quickly move to a better player. There are so many perverse incentives to not have a totally fair "shuffle" sometimes it's hard to believe it is fair. Having said all that, I'm not claiming that online is rigged, just saying the perverse incentives are there for some shenanigans.

i dont give 888 credit for being smart enough to handle something like deck rigging

mostly playing .50-1, if a noted green fish (green is for mega fish, purple is for semi fish) is at 1-2 i will play, ditto .25-.50 but basically every time i sit at .25-.50 there is zero action, i sat in 2-4 for ten minutes yesterday til greenfish spewed (not to me) and insta left

i'm 120 buy ins below ev this year playing small stakes, so enough with standard bad beat stories.
