Reading through everybody's comments basically confirms you are mostly fish in sports betting.
I held a senior position on one of the usa' largest online sports betting sites and worked with the largest one in Asia.
We considered your money as ours the moment you deposited it, before you made a single bet. In over 97 percent of the cases, we were right.
Of course there are some winners, but they are few and far between. It's a full time job for somebody to beat teams of people running the books.
You have to beat the juice, the inside knowledge and analysis, and you should realize they can control both the size and frequency of your bets, and in many cases, they will just refuse to pay you and close your account.
Sports betting in moderation is great if done for a fun gamble. If you do it thinking you have an edge, the odds are stacked against you.
I love those "it's a lock" stories which lose anyways. I remember we used to laugh at people who would claim they "knew" about some injured players and therefore the line was +ev. The books knew it before you even read the story.

there is 1 major fish that has been a semi reg the past couple weeks, name danila, he is very aggro pre, tries to run over games, and while he isnt a huge uberfish he is the best we got at the moment

he is in a 1-2 game with $300 in front of him, i get on the list and take my seat directly to his left

over the next 15 minutes the game gets down to 4 handed for some reason

he opens sb to 6, i make it 18 with AK, he makes it 45 i shove and he folds (he did basically the same thing vs my AK last week)


now for some reason all the regs leave and then he leaves


i look at the lobby and he sits at a new 1-2 table with $70

all the same regs who were just at the other game and left flock to it, no non reg at the table just him and 7 regs

he plays just as bad (probably even worse) when he is deep, and obv you want a fish to be deep, and they all leave the $300 stack game but rush to the $70 stack game.....

my entire time on 888 was been either in godmode or in get fukked mode, it is blatantly obvious, there is no middle ground

this is my longest fukked mode run so far, i hope it ends soon



pokeroverlord - up until this year i would say regs avoided me completely, they saw my 8/4 stats and basically all of them gave my 3bets respect and i was able to get away with some well timed steals as long as i didnt overdo it, and with certain regs i could overdo it because they basically never called so when they did call/4bet it was obvious they had KK or more likely AA (there are a few who i am very certain have folded KK to me pre)


but because A) the games are so tough now that there isnt enough easy money around and B) i started getting more active towards the end of my last godmode run and then during the start of my recent downswing regs correctly started to play back at me more because i was putting money in on early streets while still being a little bitch for 'real money' or on later streets

so yes, over the past few months i do feel 'bumhunted' in a way....... now if i am the worst player at the table the game certainly will break, i am not such easy money that people want to run to sit in with me

but if its me, 7 regs, and 1 guy who limps to much the 2nd most exploitable weakness at the table is likely to be my not wanting to get a lot of money invested without a nut or near nut hand and many regs have taken advantage of that lately


poker is in a sad sad state when taking a couple bucks from an ubernit like me is the 2nd best option at the table
