Re: Official Rosarito Thread

I met with pokerexpats, miguel, and another realtor.

Both pokerexpats and miguel went out of their way to be extremely helpful. I ended up with a place through pokerexpats, because they had more options in the way of 4BRs I was looking for. as a realtor, you couldnt go wrong with either, theyre both going to fight to get whats best for their clients. since moving in, ive used pokerexpats for other services and have been impressed. they get **** done when they say its going to be done, and i dont have to leave my house. i prefer to save time, and for anyone looking to be taken care of, i'd say pokerexpats provides a good, professional service, which operates on american time standards. whenever you need them for anything, they are on call.

they are realtors, and they are out to make a profit, but they make the most profit longrun by providing a good service, building rapport with their customer base, and letting that spread via word-of-mouth.

i think both of them could do without so much self-promotion, but i think theyre both good people and i wouldnt hesitate to have anyone i know work with them.

Lately I've been stressing about what would happen if my car where to break down on the way in or out of Mexico , any advice on what to do in this situation? Call insurance?

I think my insurance comes with some kind of roadside assistance but I definitely hope to never have to use it.

Is your car on its last leg? It's just a short 20 mile drive or whatever over the border. I assume there are lots of towing services though since you see people breaking down pretty frequently.

My car is in decent enough shape right now I just tend to worry too much about everything. I think my insurance might have roadside assistance also it looks like.

I can't open the RTF files in the OP. What should I download in order to open them? Google lead me down a dead end.

I was having problems opening the URL, now the page loaded but the files appear to not be there at all. Anyone have any info on this?

Holy ****, I'm glad I checked weather.com for forecasts. I always assumed Rosarito was a little warmer than San Diego. San Dieg's temp today = 71 degrees. Rosarito's temp is .... 113? Dammit, Rosarito might not be a great option anymore.

Not even close to correct, it feels about 75-80 degrees out today, we're usually just slightly warmer than san diego, 5-20 degrees pending on the day
