Re: Official Rosarito Thread

So I've been to Baja countless number of times and am contemplating moving there in April or May till the series starts and then see how it goes. I'm currently in Thailand but absolutely hate the time zone. Thailand prime time poker time is 10pm - 5am which is Baja time 7am - 2pm. I like being an early riser and am most productive pokerwise in the morning after a nice cup of coffee.

I love to surf.

I'd like to have poker roommates. Ask me to live with you please!!! I'm super easy going, very courteous, love to drink and smoke but try to keep it to a minimum. I know tons of well respected poker players on and off 2p2 and have been playing for almost 10 years and can easily provide solid refs. Plus I'm a great plo player and happy to go over hands and sweat sessions.

So I'm looking for a decent live space. Optimally and most importantly I would like a poker office (maybe something like a house with a small guest house, or a well lit sunny giant living room, or even an actual office space within 5 mins drive of the house). A place where the group goes to grind and acts professionally. We have an office here in Thailand and my win rate is substantially higher when I play there.

A private gated community would be best, preferably with a private beach that has great surf. Places that come to mind are:

1) K55 Lover's Leap beach? I think thats what it's called. It's a great right point break thats private. Plus La Fonda is only a couple kilometers away. Huge perk.

2) Gaviotas?? I think thats what It's called. I've never surfed there but I heard it's a little like Lower Trestles. Totally private beach. Can't seem to remember exactly where it's at. Think it's near K38 like +/- 5km.

Anyone know of any other great private surf breaks.

So my priorities in order are:
1) Office
2) Cool People
3) Good surf

I play MSPLO and donkaments.

Re: Official Rosarito Thread

Would anyone be interested in something like a weekly basketball game? Doesn't even have to be that formal, could just be impromptu. I just moved into palacio del mar and we have a sweet full court basketball court that it seems like never gets used. I'm gonna start shooting around but it be great to get a game goin every now and then.

Also, if anyone is interested in going golfing, either to play or just hit up the range let me know

Re: Official Rosarito Thread

Also, wanted to give a nice review of Miguel Sedano. We were having a lot of trouble at our old place because our land lord wasn't paying his HOA dues. We called Miguel up on a Friday afternoon, and he showed us 3-4 places on Saturday, and then showed us several more places on Monday spending a combined ~10 hours with us on extremely short notice. Definitely a really nice guy, and also brought us to a place with really tasty fish tacos!

Miguel and his wife are amazing. Nicest people you could meet. Very helpful. Best realtor experience I have had.

Re: Official Rosarito Thread

If anyone is looking for a roommate for a couple months let me know. I am looking end of March until the WSOP, and can afford 500ish a month. I grind MTTs. If that doesn't work out with a roommate-Miguel please pm me. I tried your website last week Miguel but maybe it didn't go through. I am ready to get out of Canada, it is too damn cold. GLGL all.
