Are there any american girls in playa? And if so, almost all of them that are there are going to be tourists right only and only there for a short vacation?

Because it seems like it would be tough to meet girls there who actually live there right? I read rosarito is mostly retirees so i can imagine its very boring there compared to playa. But are the majority of girls there mostly hispanic/mexican?

Luis from Playa Rentals got me set up when I moved here and he was amazingly helpful. He drove me to about 6 different places around town to look at units within my specifications so I could see what options I had. Ended up with a really good unit for a good price. Did not get gringo ripped off.

Hoping some Playa based US Players who play on Stars can help me out with some advice.

I live just down the road, in Belize and just binked a decent Tournament on Stars. Looking to withdraw and am having issues with currency and options. Can only withdraw via Wire to Bank account in country of residence so no good converting to Bz$ or Cheque issued in Euros. Otherwise only US$ option is thru Skrill according to Stars payment services.

Def want to keep bankroll in US$, don't want to lose a ton exchanging back and forth in currencies. How do you all withdraw and keep it in US$ and then deposit in US. Whats best option in your experience. Have Bank account in US but not citizenship or residency there - British and Belizean passport. Any advice welcome - Feel free to PM or I can give other contacts if prefer to keep it offline. thanks.

Playa is the place you want to visit during january if you want to party for sure.
But you better try to find a place to stay as soon as possible!

Please add me to the skype group: codymunger

I'll be down in Playa Dec 1 and will be looking for an apartment to stay in for 2015. Can someone please give me a little guidance as to what areas I need to be looking? I would like to be walking distance to the beach and the bars if such a place exists.

Between 1st and 30th ave and between calle 1 and 38th.

Everything is walking distance to everything. A cab is $2 if you are late or want to avoid the heat.

Read few pages back regarding property managers. Also Vivastreet MX for online. Ideally you want to be on between 1st and prob 10th, maybe 15th (going away from beach, beach starts on 1st ave). If you look on playa map you'll see that 1st is right on beach. 5th is only like 100 metres from beach.
