Hey guys,

I'll be in Cancun in a couple of weeks with my wife and she wants to head down to PDC. What's the best way to get there? I keep reading about the ADO bus but wanted to see if that's the best and most convenient method. I'm not opposed to renting a car but I'd like to black out at all the nice bars in PDC.

Just go with the ADO bus, it's really cheap and comfortable. It's not fair at all to be honest.
You could also get a cab for like 500 pesos ($40) if you look around a bit but there's not much of an advantage.

It's pretty easy to just come down here, stay at a hotel for a couple of nights and check places out. What you don't want to do is book any apartment before you arrive and have seen it.

I've heard some things about Elements Condos having internet problems, can anyone confirm/add input?

I'm looking to move to PDC for September and maybe longer, if you know me and got a place/want to get a place let me know! Plan on getting in town in a week and looking around some before settling, already had one place annoyingly fall through

If you are talking about the elements (calle 48 or something): Been here for almost a month, zero problems. Have a 3g backup, but not used it once.

i am also gonna get there in those dates to grind/party. not sure for how long but for at least 1 month could stay for even 6.

in terms of poker players sept is wcoop prob most poker players here that period than any other time

in terms of tourists this is beginning of high season so yeah good timing

I gave them 15-20 pesos but the owner hated me and screwed 50% of my orders.
HOT has a good breakfast, brochettas is very good, la portena is my favorite. Nikkori is good, la fragata is good but small portions

Anyone grinding from Tulum? Really loved that area when I stayed there a few years ago, but definitely have some doubts as to whether or not the internet would be stable enough... but maybe it's gotten better?!

Anyone ever stay at the all inclusive Barcelo Maya resort in Playa? Going there for a week vaca in January and just curious if anyone has stayed there and what they thought of it. Also, if there are any "must do" things in the area I should check out, I'd love to hear about 'em! Thanks!

Had several terrible experiences with the guy managing the orders. Almost all of the delivery drivers are very friendly though.
