Anyone have a computer monitor they are looking to sell (or lease, or gift, just kidding, really)? Needs to have HDMI connection. I have been trying to find one around town, but they all are VGA and an adapter is $800 pesos.

it's relatively pain-free in that there is no quarantine required. there are rules about shots: some need to be done in a certain window (google this or ask a vet. i vaguely remember it was something like not more than 30 days and not less than 3 days before your flight?). you need to make sure that you have a particular form completed and signed by a veterinarian (again, google or ask a vet). and expect to spend an hour or so dealing with the paperwork and fees at customs.

there was one time that i was missing a shot or they didn't like something about my paperwork. it ended up being pretty easy to resolve. they called a local vet, who came to the airport within 30 minutes or so. she gave my dog some medicine, i had to pay something like $50-100, and i was on my way.

most of playa is fairly easy-going about dogs. several bars are dog-friendly, and quite a few restaurants as well (especially those with outdoor seating). and i have decent success getting taxis to let my dog hop in with me. but dogs are not permitted at the nearby beaches and you'll get a lot of hassle if you try (including potentially getting your dog taken from you and having to pay a hefty fine quickly to save the dog from being euthanized). if you want to take your dog to the beach, there are a couple spots 15+ minutes out of town that are better bets (akumal i believe, although it's been a couple years since i was there with my dog so you should ask around first).

I need two monitors of 27" or more ( 2560x1440). I come to playa in 3 days.

Also Playacar beach is dog friendly. On the other side of the pier at Senior Frogs.

Possibly interested in a short term room sometime in August. Not really interested in signing a lease, just kinda looking for someone with a spare room for a couple months.

Hey I'm moving to PDC in the next week or so have a few questions. 1. How much does a maid cost , does anyone have reccemandation?, how good is the "green" scale of Mexican dirt-Cali ?, How is the internet quality and Electricity? What kind of electronic stores do they have in PDC, I need a battery backup and maybe a monitor. look forward to meeting some of you guys I play cash games.

1 depends on size of your apt expect to pay 200-250 for a one bedroom to be cleaned
2 dont smoke hardy ever but dont expect much imo
3 internet is fine electricity can be pricey depending on what the usage in your apartment has been in the past
4 there is office max office depot and more

Does any1 need a roommate??? My friend is currently living in Playa but im checking out my options. Basically he says i need 5k for living expenses for 4 months if i want to live in my own place. It is going to take me a while to save up 5k while working some scummy minimum wage job. Jw if any1 is interested in a roomate, and how much they would want for rent???
Im 26 years old and get along with most people i meet. I am a pot head but i figure i will go clean in Mexico because i would not want to be caught up in any cartel cross fire.
