I havent been since I was 15 lols fill me in!

Snakes is having some special tourney.
http://www.snakespoker.com/events/special

I would probably go to snakes Friday for Tourney. And obviously back on Sunday if you are still in.
(Find the nearest metro and take cab to snakes maybe 25$, same for playground)
Casino during the day (Play 2-5 not 1-2 if you have bankroll).
Playground at Night. (Usually more action/gamble then casino)

Playground is best for food at tables, tv's, waitresses, prizes, bad beat (usually), & atmosphere but on the bad side a pain to get to without a car.

Hit up the Habs game last night vs. the Islanders, man that place is Hype as heck for a team in second last place, youd think it was a fina l game 7 of the playoffs! Great time!

Schwartz deli in also a bomb as deli to go eat, was a line up around the block but Bom Bom!

^^^ Moreconfusednow Yes very similar, other than the crazy aggro drivers and the street signs being different color and launguage. TBH I was right downtown, the Bell center was across the street from my hotel about a 30 second walk and im there where the Canadiens play. SO maybe just very similar downtown. I didnt go outside of the city though, Im sure its very different once your not downtown

good post, btw, the place across the street from Schwartz we thought was better, and it's not as packed because it wasn't publicized, so try that also. Schwartz also solid obviously.

Hey guys,

Looking to take a trip to Montreal for the first time in the next few months. I enjoy nightlife a great bit. Any good hotel ideas?

Also, I know very little about the city. What type of things should I try out when I'm up there? Thanks in advance.

research the areas, for nightlife you have saint denis which tends to be more locals and less english than the other areas, if you know some people saint sulpice is a cool place to have some chill drinks and see lots of people

you have two other night life streets, i believe saint laurent was the tourist one at the end, roughly 15 blocks from here, and then one other, someone else will know better than me now since i haven't been there in over a year, not sure on hotel for you, but in this area for sure for the nightlife, the underground is easy to get around, or just cab

McGill has all of this + basketball courts, pool, squash, track etc. I just got a membership for $82 (non-student rate) for the next month.

Also if anyone wants to play basketball there (or anywhere), hit me up.
