I am loving the precedent you are setting in this thread. F innocent until proven guilty, that's what I always say. The burden of proof should be on the accused, always.
Barry Brachfeld, can you prove that this photo of a young slutty looking Colombian girl in your arms is not, in fact, a prostitute (underage?) that you paid for? Can you prove you did not pay for her time, to show her off to your friends, as if we live in a fantasy world where young nubile, Colombian girls crave your oversized, middle-aged body flopping up and down on top of them? Did you think the donkey costume would throw them off? That that polyester blown up brown beast would transform you from a fat ****** into an irresistible sex magnet?

I agree and halfway understand why you pointed the finger at me. I stayed at casa loma for 10 days in september, and there were minor problems before I got there. I believe a security guard had gotten fired days before I arrived, but regardless I literally caused zero harm or noise in casa loma. I would come back from dates or wake up in the morning to people partying...not quite sure why they started partying so hard when I got there but it had nothing to do with me. I was boring as hell for those 10 days and never brought a single paid girl to the apartment. I smoked alot of weed, played alot of poker, ate alot of food and had some sex. Most of whom came over then spent the night with me, and I think the security saw that my girls were 'real' which is why I never once got hassled by guards. FWIW we had zero issues at the 2nd apartment we rented from you besides ruben stressing out and rushing us during check in.
Bryant the other side of the coin is when we are woken up by people (administrators, neighbors, guards) at ungodly hours for us upset because something is going on. I'm not saying you had hookers at least you speak enough Spanish.
I agree man, you have a tough job at times dealing with nitwits like poker players, among others. You also charge a hefty premium for the services and rentals you provide. Rent out standard apartments in laureles for a million a month instead of 5 million in poblado and I bet these problems don't surface nearly as often - you picked your poison on that one, but also reap the benefits.

You specifically sent me an email saying you'd rather cater to whore-mongers than crazy disrespectful poker players. While I agree with your stance there...still, your company DOES act as a go-to for sex mongers and advertises as such. The first thing bruce was talking to me about was some international sex guide website and if that was how I found out about your company. When I do partake in the underside of medellin's women...its centro casas in the daytime.
anyways I don't think there was ever a hooker over during my stay at any of your 4 apartments besides casa loma in which I was not involved. Loud music I begrudgingly admitted fault to on one occasinon, it was my friend's first 3some and I was pissed off as well but wasn't going to ruin anything for him. We never had parties at any of your rental properties. For one there's no reason to invite a bunch of guys over that don't speak spanish anyways...I'm not the overly awesome Jose that lends a helping hand to new players in every way possible. And second when we did have people over...Barry was telling us that simply people walking up the stairs at night (building does echo alot) bothers the neighbors. It was feria, and still we never had more than 3 guys/4 girls at the apartment during our stay.

I do apologize about the situation with the door, that thing was just ancient and on its last leg though, and I had to force it open when it jammed to get inside, and force it back closed to shut it. Then music ONE night, and imo that's the extent of the problems I caused you...one of which I am just taking blame for another since I was the one that promised you we wouldn't be crazy at night
Funny it was him that ran for them getting the 4G modem they stole. He was there for them to make sure they had that. I said nah let them go get it themselves. We rent apartments not offices..

blah blah drama drama. Barry and crew will continue making ****loads of money doing high end rentals. Players will hopefully learn some respect, but inevitably the first time latin america travelers will run into a ton of problems like this. I've always said Colombia shouldn't even be considered as an option for players unless they speak spanish.
My advice to Barry is to just boot out players that cause alot of trouble, immediately. Guys that are renting these higher end places have plenty of money. Increase your security deposits and give them the rundown of no BS or they'll get the boot. Party oriented players will stop coming to you due to word of mouth in our tight-knit poker community, but more mellow respectful players may still seek you out as they cause relatively few problems in the end anyways.
That was long, I'm trapped at an airport on the amazon river in Peru due to flight delays, blehhhh.
GG all, and everyone take care of Jose, kid just regularly goes so out of his way to accommodate people for no compensation

Obviously Jose has been working out since photo was taken but this was a picture I took when we went out one of the first nights I was there.
